Re: Peterson...Rock In Hat...Eye Fatigue...OMG
Does Dr. Peterson then believe that Joseph really could see buried treasure in his peep stone?

Re: 5 reasons to suspect Jesus never existed...
Just listened to a decent podcast on this from the Thinking Atheist. I'm a hopeful agnostic when it comes to a historical Jesus

Infants on Thrones just released a great mini-sode on the history of dissent at General Conference.

Re: When Doubts and Questions Arise - March Ensign
"Some people also stumble over statements made by Church leaders that have turned out to be incorrect, not about doctrine but in their personal opinions" They need to add a 15th fundamental in following the prophet- The prophet may later be proven wrong, in this case he was simply stating...

Re: Speaking of Holland ...
Great stuff as usual Runtu. I remember his 2009 talk because it was about one week before our faith crisis. I remember watching that talk live which must mean it resonated with me but honestly can't remember how I felt about it. Funny to think that within 10 days I would be a non believer and one of...

Elder Jeffrey R. Holland wrote:He, the devil, shall have no power over you. No power to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless woe.
Glad to see the devil is making a comeback

I'm going with Jeremy Runnells with Joanna Brooks as a dark horse.
I would love to see them go after Jeremy and have readership of the CES letter sky rocket.

Great stuff all of you. Any other news about the book Madison54 mentioned in the OP? I just started with Joseph's Temples: The Dynamic Relationship between Freemasonry and Mormonism by Michael Homer. Great so far. m http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51fYYCSAPKL._BO2,204,203,200_PIsitb-sticker-v3...

Re: Dehlin and Peggy Fletcher Stack, again.
Well, well; Mr. Seven Cylinders comments on one of my posts again. Foundations, charities and religions have employees and plenty of them. The question is whether a foundation exists to benefit just one person. John should have organized as a corporation sole. Seems the best way to benefit those at...

Re: Dehlin and Peggy Fletcher Stack, again.
I have no problem with Dehlin making a living from the service he provides. I have donated to him in the past and will donate in the future. He provided an enormous service to my wife and I as we left the church. I will continue to support him so he can provide that same service to others as they fa...
