Re: RFM on Kamp in Court
That makes sense. It wasn't a counter claim but a separate claim in state court, likely in response to her claim in District court. Or something like that. Don't care enough for the details. If that's the offer, then a simple resolution is on the table, even though it may not be a complete retracti...

Re: RFM on Kamp in Court
Or she's just not credible. It's difficult so see how she could have run up a $300k tab in legal fees in such an irrelevant case. Unless she's paying up front, no decent attorney is going to take that risk. I know there's a counter claim against her, but I suspect this could all be resolved easily ...

1. Repentance - how is it done if no one is qualified to oversee the process? 2. The Sacrament - did Christ ever declare it was to be a weekly thing and did Smith just make up the sacrament prayers like everything else? If not, where did he get the words from? How is the sacrament to be done, if at...

Re: RFM on Kamp in Court
I haven’t talked about these issues anywhere to my recollection. Jenn Kamp filed a lawsuit against John Dehlin in Federal court alleging harassment, but she filed it in the wrong court system. I think that was around January of 2023. Jenn then did a podcast about her lawsuit, the allegations in it,...

Re: RFM on Kamp in Court
That’s what she told the judge in the hearing. Don’t know how I missed that, except I found some of it difficult to hear. Thanks! That is totally bonkers. What a waste. Or she's just not credible. It's difficult so see how she could have run up a $300k tab in legal fees in such an irrelevant case. ...

Seems justified at least when and to the extent that those historical figures are still being held up as authoritative.

Re: Brigham Young doesn’t deserve his online criticism
"He wasn't perfect" has to be among the most meaningless arguments you could make in defense of someone, especially since no one has perfection as a standard. But I guess this puts Brigham Young in the same group as Hitler, Pol Pot, Stalin, DP, and believe or not, me, as well as the countless other...

Re: Brigham Young doesn’t deserve his online criticism
Lots of great information out there on men and women like Abraham Lincoln - 1809; Ralph Waldo Emerson - 1803; Harriet Beecher Stowe - 1811; William H. Seward - 1801; Elijah Parish Lovejoy -1803; James Polk - 1795 and on and on and on... all a product of their time. And then we have Joseph Smith Jr....
