Re: Children spend up to 10 hours a day in day care.

Why Me, This is clearly a big stance from the Church "Women should stay at home and have kids". When you see articles suggesting children suffer as a result of mothers going out to work you list them in support of the Church's stance. Fair enough. The world is overpopulated and the rate of...

Re: Daniel Peterson's Article on Book of Mormon in Deseret News

Joseph's lack of good grammar tend to be over blown to make the Book of Mormon look better, but then try reading the original before any mistakes were fixed. The Mozart's example, as with others, is juts to show that people even at young ages can do great things, so why not Joseph. Why does he have...

Question for Dr Scratch.

Dr Scratch,

I have been given a reason for thinking that over on MAD the poster 'Will Schryver' and the Administrator that goes by the posting name of 'Nemesis' are in fact, one and the same person.

Is that possible?
What would be the implications for how MAD operates?

Re: Why is denying the holy ghost unforgivable?

It's particularly tricky this one because you can never be sure wether you're feeling the Holy Ghost, Satan pretending to be the Holy Ghost, your own mind convincing you of something you already belueve or just a bad case of indigestion.

Perhaps if he introduced himself first.

Re: The Isaiah Problem

It is difficult to argue when you can just claim that Joseph was "inspired" despite what could or could not have been on the plates. The apologists are smart to begin to move away from the need of the plates, let's see if the church follows suit. Moroni will be the only one that will be t...

Re: Are LDS brides prepared for what they'll wear in sealings?

To be clear, many women who get sealed know full well what's going on. They aren't surprised, because they've seen it all before, numerous times. my wife and I both had frequented the temple many times before our wedding day. Tell me Stemelbow, when you said that "many women who get sealed kno...

I used to think you probably made stuff up to try and sound knowledgeable, thank you for clearing that up for me. What are you talking about you've posted here a day? Also are you saying that 1,000 people cannot be said to be many? You guys... 1,000 out of 2,000 is many 1,000 out of 1,000,000 is no...

More than a thousand but less than a million, approximately.

Re: Most Frequent Book of Abraham Assertion

Hey Chris, My mistake on the 4 of the 69 characters thing. I misread him previously. I see now he didn't say 4 of the 69 characters had explanations and where found on the papyrus. My apologies in the whole him taking this out on you affair. You know, I don't get him. I was hoping he had decided to...
