Re: My disgust with Democrats regarding "court stacking"

You answered your own question. You weren't paying attention. You clearly asked your question out of ignorance of the events in 2016. That's why it's mysterious to you and nobody else. In that case, now that I know the events of 2016, I am equally disgusted at the Republicans for playing dirty tric...

Re: My disgust with Democrats regarding "court stacking"

So selecting a Justice for the Supreme Court with the prerequisite that they are likely to be helpful in your effort to dishonestly steal the election if actually you lose is "doing your job"? What makes you think she will help him steal the election, assuming it's even possible for her to do so? T...

Re: Is Dr. Shades Trumpster?

Put it this way: I voted for the Libertarian candidate for President in both the 2016 and the 2020 elections.

Beyond that, I'm politically apathetic. I think Donald Trump is merely more brazen than other politicians; the only difference between him and them is that they all hide it better.

Wasn't there a Black man who became a convert to Christianity in Acts? Or am I thinking about later assumptions about his identity? I don't know.
He was an Ethiopian, so it's assumed that he was black.

I think "court stacking" is a reasonable term for the Republican strategy.
In that case, those Republicans are disgusting for failing to do their jobs. I don't think it obviates the point I made in my opening post, though.

Never one to be overly quick on the uptake, I sheepishly admit that you totally lost me here, Dean. :-(

My disgust with Democrats regarding "court stacking"

Dear Perfumaniacs: During the confirmation hearings of Justice Amy Coney Barrett, both within the hearings and without one constantly heard accusations from our Democratic friends that President Trump was "stacking the court" and that he was audacious for daring to nominate someone to replace Justic...

Re: Maybe Inspiration

Oh. My. God. Even before starting time, cars were lined up on both sides of the road, down the street, around the corner, in the church parking lots and all I saw were lines and lines of children . . . And then you go to this humongous gathering where all the children came out of their houses, pare...

Re: Mormon Discussions needs your help!

Thanks to seven generous donators so far, we've almost reached our goal of $500.00 to secure the old domain name and the database. (Am I allowed to name the specific amount we've raised?) By means of total transparency, the gatekeeper to both of these things, Mav, is being very difficult to get in t...

Re: Has the Baton Been Passed from Gee to Smoot?

If your premise is correct, then that's a bad sign for Dr. Gee, 'cause Mopologetics is typically a lifetime tenure. If one quits being a Mopologist before one dies, then apostasy seems to quickly follow.
