I don't know if his "the attractions are obvious" line was intended to elicit the audience chuckle that it did, but I felt this "joke" being made on the heels of the suicide story was... odd.

I don't know what kind of thinkers they are, but I've enjoyed some of the creative output from Dan Wells , Jared and Jerusha Hess , Neil LaBute , and Brian Evenson . All began their careers, as far as I know, as believing, practicing Mormons, though that's no longer the case for at least the last two.
