It happened at least twice, by two different Mopologist creeps. DCP was not one of them, though.
Okay so *not* DCP.

Contacting someone’s employer or messing with their real life is despicable.
Yes - sorry - my mistake.

I'll go back and fix my previous comment.

67,000 + 33,000 = 100,000, not 110,000. But I digress. Since when has a higher 'church' official ever told the truth about anything??? Just pay, pray and obey please! ;)
When you add the tithing, 100K becomes 110K - easy!

It happened at least twice, by two different Mopologist creeps. DCP was not one of them, though. The late Bill Hamblin did it to me (meaning he threatened to contact my dean)! I was also told that another apologist had contacted my chair, but I never bothered to confirm it. It was you I was thinkin...

Did this actually happen, or is it gossip?

He may just be one of these lazy members who uncritically accepts what he has been told, and passes it on as the truth.

Re: The Top Ten Happenings in Mopologetics, 2023

Can he imagine himself musing about whether the boss of a member of this board would be interested in the fact that said board member was posting here? Didn't he do just that a few years ago? "Nice job you have there - it would be a pity if anything bad happened to it." Did this actually happen, or...

Re: The Top Ten Happenings in Mopologetics, 2023

Great questions, Tom. Holland evidently (later) found it necessary to shut down FARMS’s hit piece on John Dehlin. It seems telling that he was quiet on this issue: the anonymous apostate was less of a danger to faith than FARMS. Recently DCP declared the following… But I have literally no idea what...

Re: Atheist attacks Christopher Hitchens

A while ago I read of someone who referred to themselves as an atheistic agnostic - meaning that they admitted their ignorance of possible gods, or evidence of such, but at the same time were almost certain that none existed.

I'm good with that idea.
