Re: John Clark - What became of his 2004 staged BYU oratory?

The very first time I saw Professor Midgley's rage was at a Grant Palmer book signing at Sam Weller's Zion Bookstore in Salt Lake in which he asked a few questions, was aggressive, and raised a bit of hell with Palmer. I believe that I also spotted him at a Mormon History Association conference sess...

"In the western part of the state of New York near Palmyra is a prominent hill known as the “hill Cumorah.” On July twenty-fifth of this year, as I stood on the crest of that hill admiring with awe the breathtaking panorama which stretched out before me on every hand, my mind reverted to the e...

Re: What Watson (supposedly) really said to Hamblin/FARMS

While we have the complete photocopy of the First Presidency letter for the 1990 statement, we only have this footnote reference for the claimed 1993 correspondence. However, Mr. Peterson claims that these two sentences from the 1993 correspondence constitute the entire letter/communication. This m...

Hello, Tom. The building was to have been erected on private property directly adjacent to BYU that the Maxwell Institute owned back when it was known as FARMS, and prior to its affiliation with BYU. Much has changed since then. The building hasn't been an active project for many years now. My elde...
