Re: Boylan brings the lols
Does this guy have an audience that extends beyond his fellow apologists and critics? Is he reaching anyone that might be influenced by what he posts? But for people talking about him here on this forum, I would have never known he existed. I think, as Kishkumen pointed out, he thrives on criticism...

Re: Boylan the Debater
I'm surprised anyone would think priesthood is a strong point for Mormonism. The Mormon priesthood isn't taught in the New Testament or the early church, which makes little sense given how central it is to LDS Church organization, and it doesn't work to say "because wicked men removed plain and pre...

Boylan brings the lols
Everyone's favorite lolcow and amateur blogger, Robert Boylan took offense to someone calling out his bad behavior online, so he made this post and proved his critic right. Life is hard, it's even harder when you aren't self-aware.

Re: In which Jim Bennet and Jacob Hansen discuss their Differences on Mormon Book Reviews
I was under the impression that old LDS orthodoxy taught that they had infallible scripture and that they definitely were not Christians. Hansen seems to reject the idea of any infallible revelation and he also seems to hold to the idea that LDS are Christians too. Bill, I must take a step back and...

Re: In which Jim Bennet and Jacob Hansen discuss their Differences on Mormon Book Reviews
Hansen is an interesting figure. He seems to represent modern LDS orthodoxy but his ideas about the church are a pretty blatant rejection of older LDS orthodoxy. Bill, blatant rejection? I do not understand what you are thinking of. He sounded like he fit orthodoxy, at least that I am familiar with...

Re: What Happened to Mormon Talk?
Well, the good news is that MormonTalk was on yesterday. The bad news is that it's probably going to get pulled from YouTube due to graphic splashing. Here is a short clip of what the show was about (trigger warning: strong and inappropriate language): https://youtu.be/Q5fWkLSqZMo?t=2325 Well, it w...
