Re: uh.... Mak? the Church takes care of missionaries?
If this is legit there needs to be some publicity, quick - as close to the Florida announcement as possible. Maybe the church can be shamed into doing the right thing.

Re: Believed you would inherit your own planet - Antimormon
When I was YW president I attended a stake youth convention. During the meal I sat at a table with the stake youth leaders and several Bishops. Re: Event: Special Fireside for Disaffected Swedish LDS Sain
I read the transcript, and it is obvious why the church would not want it published. I almost feel like apologizing to bcspace who claimed he could give better answers than Jensen and Turley. Jensen obfuscated and Turley just told whatever lie he thought might placate the questioner. I bet those tw...

Re: Event: Special Fireside for Disaffected Swedish LDS Sain
... Terryl Givens only allowed one question per person and no come-backs in his recent firesides. Really? So he can give a questioner pretty well any damn' answer he pleases, and the questioner (who may well have done a fair bit of background research) can say nothing to indicate to others present ...

Yes, at least Mattsson claims it in the Mormon Stories interview.

Re: Some Mormons Search the Web and Find Doubt - NYT
Will Schryver in the comments section. Notice he doesn't tell anyone where to look - perhaps like L. Tom Perry, he has a briefcase that contains all of the answers. Will Schryver Cedar City, UT Dr. Scratch, Grant Palmer, Bridget Jeffries and other well-known anti-Mormons have done a great job of spr...

Re: The LDS problems in Sweden
I find the transcript of the Q&A session in Sweden fascinating. The Swedish members don't let Jensen or Turley off the hook on anything and they repeatedly counter answers with new questions. I think the exchange on DNA is particularly interesting. RT: Quickly. Archeology and the Book of Mormon....

Re: An Exclusive Review: Greg Smith's "Hit Piece"
If I recall correctly there was also a thread on John's Facebook page about the BEST talk of all time. Was that fact also mentioned in the Greg Smith piece?
