I have an update and I can't even believe it. Consider this whole post a praise!
I want to say first, I can't believe all the stuff I've posted on this thread but it turned into my own journal and I've referred to it for every appointment. Maybe if someone needs it they'll recall seeing something here that helps. I hope no one ever needs it.
So the past however long it's been--a month? I engaged in my own kind of therapy. I spent an obscene amount of money on Amazon and other websites without batting an eye. Everything I bought was on sale. It helped me to know something new or nice was coming to the house.
Here's the update....I slept a full 8 hours last night. When I woke up this morning I had NO symptoms at all. None. It's almost 8 p.m. here, I've eaten and still no symptoms. I'm almost afraid to say what I think so I won't. I feel sleepy as if all the tension has left my body. At peace and calm.
So...I went into town this afternoon and BOUGHT A WHOLE NEW SOFA.
I've been wanting it for about 4 years now ever since I saw it online. I went to the showroom about 3 months ago and saw it in person to confirm the upholstery color I wanted. Nice neutral color and will go with my old end tables which are Early American (which I love, love, love) and even though I refurnished previously, I kept them in storage in the garage. I cheat refinished them during the pandemic to sort of bring them back to life.
So La Z Boy had one sofa in stock with the exact upholstery. Just one. And it's coming to our house next Wednesday!
And...when I got home my new boots were waiting for me, too.

That's how nuts I've been with online shopping.
Besides this whole update...my one good thing: I had read that La Z Boy removed your old furniture. The sales person, Charlie, told me that they don't do that but she gave me handouts for donation places. One of the places is a local ministry that picked up our old tables after I refinished my EM tables during the pandemic. The man was so respectful and appreciative to have our tables. I'm going to call him to have him come get my sofa and loveseat. When everything falls in line like that, including the lack of symptoms, I always think the Lord had a hand in it somehow.
I had SO much fun at the showroom with Charlie. I told her upon greeting that I knew exactly what I wanted and I told her I was going to be her easiest customer today. She even gave me a military discount. I bought in one of my favorite pillow covers and placed it on the new sofa and it's perfect so all the covers I have will work, too.
Last night I was exhausted and in pain. LOOK at what happened today!
