Good luck with the probiotic! My SIL, a retired nurse, has recommended that path many times to anyone with stomach issues.

Woke up this morning to smoke in the air, wildfires in the state are polluting the air. If its not one thing, its another, right?

You know what my cousin in North Jersey posted about fires on her Facebook today! I had no awareness of that at all.

ETA: Just checked quick. Is it just in Passaic?

I think three or four in Northern Jersey. Not anywhere near me, but still bad enough even news in nyc is talking about air quality.

Just checked the AQI for NYC...I have the NYC weather listed on my phone app ;). Says 49 which isn't horrible compared to what we get out here in summer which is well into the hundreds, 150-ish, but I'm sure folks are concerned not being used to that out there. My cousin has COPD so I'm sure she's feeling affected. I'd better tell her to pull out a mask to wear when outside. Thanks for getting back to me on that.

Urgent Care today.

It was exactly what I suspected. Conductive hearing loss due to impacted "stuff" I don't even want to talk about. Right ear was completely obstructed, left ear not as bad. Took 2 hours step by step. Hurt but only in a kind of awkward way. When the PA yanked the thing in my right ear, I could feel it coming out like a cork and...I could HEAR! :o

So...I can hear now but everything sounds crazy loud to me to the point where normal sounds startle me at first. I'm sure it's just a matter of adjustment. Not dizzy any more! Thank the Lord!

Got home and felt worn out from the whole thing.

Probiotics start tomorrow!

Had a giggle at the cork comment. So glad there was a simple solution. And yay to the chair <3 beautiful.

Your DD sounds lovely. Such a nice touch to add a heart. It's the little things.

Fingers crossed the probiotics sit well.

It really was like pulling a cork out of a bottle! And yes, she's a good and thoughtful girl to her mother. I felt so deprived not being able to go to the restaurant (it was that brewery I keep mentioning) and so happy to see my pizza box with all the hearts she drew on it for me! Oh and you know what? Recall the fentanyl experience I wrote about here? DD told me that fentanyl has no odor and that it was probably meth. Meth, she says, smells like a wet dog.

I don't even want to know how she knows that.

Yet another chapter of...

Nevermind Jersey's gut what's wrong with her brain?

Shelf stable probiotic sat here 2 (?) days longer than I intended to start taking it. I was apprehensive (afraid) to take it because I thought it would blow up my tummy and send me off to the ER with the heart thing. In my own defense though, I've had so much pain, discomfort, and runs to the ER in the past 1.5 years...I'm kind of battle weary.

Okay...so earlier today I was sitting here with my head in the screen procrastinating about taking the pill. Arguing with myself about it.

"Just take it. Do you really have full faith or is that just something you tell people? It's day time, the roads are clear, and if your belly blows up and heart goes crazy it's the perfect time for the ER. Do you really believe that God gave you C the NP or not? What did she tell you to do? Are you a faithless coward? Every day you wait, you're choosing to stay stuck in this mess. How stupid are you?"

This...dear readers, is how stupid I am.

I picked up the bottle of probiotic and read the label again. 30 billion bacteria. Then...I got an idea. I searched up the yogurt that I eat regularly and it looks like it has about the same or more bacteria in it than the shelf stable probiotic so I've likely been consuming the same or more this whole time.

Lol. I have no idea what either would smell like. I did have remifentanyl at hospital on a clicky pen thing and it was amazing. But it was intravenous. No smell. Don't know if that is the same thing.

I asked my husband about this because I didn't think we had much meth and fentanyl going on in this country. He said it's not as popular here. I think heroin and crack are the heavy ones that people take here.

It's probably because she's treated meth dogs. Know what the treatment is? Vodka IV. I'm serious.
