Was intended literally. It's good that people like hugs. I just felt like a weirdo being the only person that gets overwhelmed. When I was a kid, whenever I went to hug my mum goodnight my dad would be like, "are your trying to crawl back up the hole you came from?" He'd get angry so I'd run to my mum and tap my head on hers then run upstairs to bed. I don't even know if my brothers got hugs. I was always sent up before them. Even now I will still touch my mum's head with mine before going to bed if we are staying in the same house.
