My top three Apologetics:
Mere Christianity - C.S. Lewis
The Jesus I Never Knew - Phillip Yancey
What's So Amazing About Grace - Yancey
Top Religious Fiction:
(I don't take any of these as "accurate" but all are really REALLY interesting.)
King Jesus - Robert Graves
The Gospel According to the Son - Norman Mailer
The Last Temptation of Christ - Kazantzakis

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the

I usually don't read Christian apologetics or even religious fiction, unless you count The Thorn Birds. Father Ralph makes me swoon...
I do enjoy CS Lewis, however, and especially loved his autobiography, Surprised by Joy. Lately, I've been re-reading the classics - books I read in high school or college but which now, many years later, have such different meaning for me.
Thanks for starting this thread. Hopefully, I'll find a few great book recommendations!
