Theres another individual I could turn you to in order to understand how the power structure of Mormonism works, but he's dead and enlightened me greatly concerning Mormonism:
OK, so what is it that J. Golden (my father's family's favorite GA) teach you about Mormonism, aside from the power of his name in getting him his position (or is that it?)? Not that this is a negligible lesson, but you have piqued my curiosity.
Anything you could do to educate me a little more on this inter-operation of NFPs and FPs would also be appreciated. Not being snarky here, but I am seriously curious, as I was in the earlier post.
He put the fact its an old boys club. That the Mormon elite suck on LDS culture/religion to stay comfortable is a conclusion I came to after reviewing patterns in business.

So many things in this world are.
“I was hooked from the start,” Snoop Dogg said. “We talked about the purpose of life, played Mousetrap, and ate brownies. The kids thought it was off the hook, for real.”

Yes, the thing that is more than disappointing is that in Mormonism the boys club is believed to be an eternal reality. That is one of the things that makes the system distasteful to me.

What would you think are the honest implications inherent in patrilineal new money types from the beginning of the last century? Xenophobic and cruel in their view of "the world" and distaste for "the worldly", how would that make their cultural outlook?
Furthermore, the Foundations and generational wealth begin to accumulate and in the early 20'th century they continued to be tied to what is feeding the media with press releases. PR is their new God and they only accept the second annointing as a membership card into their social club.
Who gets the money to build the buildings? How does it get there? If they opened the books I suspect they would be littered with consistent contracts, private business interests the garnishing at the country club.
When do I get my trip to the LDS Church's hunting lodge?

I think I see where you are going, but I am not so sure that there is such a monolithic group as they like to portray themselves to others.

Maybe, but they are also really fond of getting the best deal they can.

One thing I would like to know is whether Okan construction has any familial ties to LDS top leadership. That company sure does a large amount of church construction.
