According to my Franklin electronic dictionary, LOGIC is based on tests of sound thinking and proof by reasoning. . .

Wouldn't theologians love to claim fame by having their profession bear the stamp of Logic? Religion cannot pass today's tests that weren't there centuries ago, when faith was foremost.

However, that hasn't burried them. Being survivalists it has motivated them to change (somewhat) with the times. Some quicker, and more, than others. Maybe there's some logic in that? If 'we' don't change 'we' won't continue to exist! Seems logical to change, while continuing our illogical dogma because it remains believable by those not putting it to the test.
"The poor (thinkers) you will always have with you..." Theology based religion is for them.

Community and socially based religion, that acknowledges the mythologies and legends of the past as not to be believed, attract a more thoughtful group; generally speaking. in my opinion. . .

As always JAK, I enjoy your thoughts and rational. Science will eventually be acknowledged as saving more 'souls' than does the faith-based practioners. . .

Roger,

Your vapid, vacuous assertions are duly noted and discarded.

C.C., thanks for your opinion. Duly noted and seriously considered.

Will you please translate your tag. Lacking a Latin background it is meaningless to me.
I could use your descriptive words, but that would be mean spirited and serve no purpose.
So, I respectfully ask you to please enlighten me by putting those Latin words into English.
Thanks, Roger
