i mean to say, it is obvious from the scriptures that Satan is intended, by God, to tempt, test, and incite mankind. However, we read in Job where Satan appears and seems to "incite" God....and even God gives notice to that idea (Job 2:3). So, my question is, did God charge Satan with going after mankind only, or did God also commission Satan to test God?
Was he testing God? I didn't get that from Job. What I'm reading is that Satan enlisted the assistance of his God in testing Job.

so, what do you make of the last part of Job 2:3 where we read God stating "...though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason" (emphasis mine)
Is it your position that Satan incited God under God's own direction?

He incited God to take part in the testing of Job. He didn't incite God to test God.

i agree....so, did God commission Satan to incite God, or was Satan capable of inciting God by his own determination, his own free-will? I mean to say, was God's intention to have Satan incite Him from time to time or did Satan turn from inciting man all the time to the occasional inciting of the boss.....maybe passive-agressive over working conditions or benefits, etc..

I don't know, and I'm not sure it's an important question. The text itself says nothing about it, and it's a fictional story to begin with. It's not like there was a historical Job.
The point is, Satan was El's henchman.

Huh? that a holy lifestyle is a path to prosperity or that hard work is ordained by God and will bring blessings is not the prosperity gospel. You should study a little about Kenyon, Jimmy Swaggart or Oral Roberts and notice that their teachings are not LDS teaching. I disagree with your proposition and find your post's rebuttals of "i know you are but what am i" approach rather absurd and highlights your assertions as being shallow understandings of both the LDS teachings and the Prosperity Gospel..
The problem with the LDS church is that God can not be found amongst the rules.

Wow, as we say in these parts...."hit dog hollers"
Look, Pahora... I mean Lora... I mean subgenius... stop presuming I don't know stuff (like, what the prosperity gospel is) and try answering the rebuttal.
Of course, as I've noted in the past, you are ill-equipped with the intellectual tools to rebut.
