Why don't you search the doctrine then (manuals etc.)? By definition, doctrine is the interpretation of scripture and therefore is more authoritative than scripture (more detailed as well.
I was taught that husband, wife and children would be reunited and live together in the CK. Now while this makes for a large extended family all living together under one roof (cloud) and Uncle Bill would probably not be much fun to live with, I am surprised that there is no clearly defined doctrine that states specifics
D&C 132 is pretty clear. I'm fairly certain you've not actually checked the doctrine though.
Sometimes I wished the church created a church sanctioned book of doctrine or catechism for the church.
The Church has defined official doctrine as that which is published by the Church. There are a variety of publications printed or online that are lists of doctrine. For example, you could go to LDS.org, pull down the menu, select study by topic and go to marriage. Right at the beginning it says:
When a man and woman are married in the temple, their family can be together forever.
It goes on to elucidate further and provides more scriptural and doctrinal references to explore. Our doctrine is quite systematic.
