No. I'm saying those who look exclusively for or accentuate the negative while discarding the positive are dishonest.

So...let me get this straight. If anyone is bothered by the fact that Joseph hid some of his plural marriages from Emma, they are dishonest? Is that what you are saying here, BC?


Foundationally, we could start with the fact that plural marriage in ancient times was authorized by God from time to time. So yes, it is dishonest to try to maintain a belief in Christianity and yet be uncomfortable with plural marriage at all. And yes I notice you narrowed on hiding from Emma, but I'm quite certain both of you are uncomfortable with plural marriage in and of itself and thus you hunt for and desperately cling to reasons to disbelieve when the foundation is already there.
