Example of omniscience by God

Post by _Mittens »

Romans 4:
17 (as it is written, “I have made you a father of many nations”) in the presence of Him whom he believed—God, who gives life to the dead and calls those things which do not exist as though they did;

So God can speak of things in the Future as it was in the Past

Jeremiah 1

4 Then the word of the Lord came to me, saying:
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; Before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

when man can't even get past things correct, ( eg ) Alma 7:10 where Joseph Smith fails to get Jesus' birth place wrong

10 And behold, he shall be born of Mary, at Jerusalem which is the cland of our forefathers, she being a virgin, a precious and chosen vessel, who shall be overshadowed and conceive by the power of the Holy Ghost, and bring forth a son, yea, even the Son of God.

Example of omniscience by God

Micah 5
1 Now gather yourself in troops, O daughter of troops; He has laid siege against us; They will strike the judge of Israel with a rod on the cheek.
2 “But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Though you are little among the thousands of Judah, Yet out of you shall come forth to Me The One to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth are from of old, From everlasting.”

That's not God speaking. That's Paul speaking.
Surprise, surprise, there is no divine mandate for the Church to discuss and portray its history accurately.

not that i am arguing the premise for or against....but i seemed to have missed the part that exemplified God's capacity to know everything that there is to know - you know, the whole omniscience part..

and yes, we have seen Mittens the Heretic and now we have Mittens the Blasphemer....whatever will Mittens reveal in order to complete the Trifecta of condemnation?!?!?
