Along with one or two other features, voting in polls is not working for me. So, this is an unofficial vote.

I say yes. It's like the chicken and egg question. There is a correct answer for that old question. The egg, laid by a bird that was almost, but not quite a chicken.

Same for Adam's belly button. If one wants to call the first true Homo sapien Adam (could have been eve as well), he was born to a woman (Homo antecessor?) who was almost, but not quite a Homo sapien.
