Were there any active LDS branches in New York City between 1862 and 1883?
While the Mormon pioneers were building communities in the Great Salt Lake Basin, were there still active communities back east?
I'm particularly interested in New York City, and in the years 1862-1883.
Was there any local branch or ward operating in those years?
