Being a seeker sounds better since worship is more related to placating a jealous petulant God that demands obeisance.

Anyway, I've noted that a portion of 'shifting Mormons" seek other places to "worship." I'm curious, coming from the background that you do, why?

Saying your prayers of thanks in the great cathedral of the open air is comforting, especially if that cathedral is a mountain meadow or a blanket on the grass at night, away from the lights of civilization, looking up at the sky.

interesting op question, made me stop and think.

As a father/grandfather would I want my posterity to worship me? never
Honor? to some extent
Be at one with came to mind ... yes.

That being at one is somehow appealing, and yet even then at one with what? not everything, that's for sure.
