Golden Plates the Easy Way

I never seen this discussed much, but copper can fairly easily be made to look "gold."

The process was well known in the early 1800s and Oliver Cowdery would have certainly known about the process.

"Gold plates" would have been relatively easy to produce from copper plates. And pretty darn cheap too!
