So, you are GOD?!?! Not much better than the Pharaohs that are nothing more than dust balls in various museums. You are certainly no Keith Green and he never claimed to be deity...Shulem wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2026 1:13 pmWhatever that link is, you can forget it. So, you may dust your feet again and curse me all you like, LittleNipper. I will not be deceived! I AM awake and am full of praise! I am God.LittleNipper wrote: ↑Fri May 29, 2026 12:47 pmThis video says it all: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vFXFB-eXJ4o
We (the educated) trust in the coordinated academic scholarship of credible universities and the wonderful presentations given in museums around the world. Moses and the Ten Plagues as presented in the Bible is nothing more than a story, it’s pure religious fiction. The chronology and timeline made-up by the Jews is false. The stories in Genesis are religious lore.
Amen.

I think it best if we return the thread back to discussing king’s names in the Book of Mormon and leave Egypt alone. I realize that threads often go awry and get sidetracked but a correction here is in order.LittleNipper wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2026 12:59 pmEgypt Feared WHO After the Exodus? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I6tuTuoU3Bk

I hate to say the obvious, but there seems to be very little debate of any sort on this Board. I would think nearly anything would be far better than nothing.... But you talk to yourself...Shulem wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2026 1:41 pmI think it best if we return the thread back to discussing king’s names in the Book of Mormon and leave Egypt alone. Thank you for your consideration. I welcome debate on the topic on hand. But I think my presentation has been a slam dunk and the apologists will not touch it let alone engage me.LittleNipper wrote: ↑Mon Jun 01, 2026 10:05 pmI hate to say the obvious, but there seems to be very little debate of any sort on this Board. Can Jesus name the king?
As noted in this thread, Joseph Smith changed the name Benjamin to Mosiah in the Book of Mosiah but failed or neglected to do so in the Book of Ether. That changed was made by Orson Pratt who made revisions to the Book of Mormon in 1849 while performing missionary service in the British Isles. Thus, the coverup was finalized through Pratt rather than the original translator, Joseph Smith. So, now there are three versions/editions (1830, 1837, 1849) of the Book of Mormon in circulation wherein the names of these kings differ in each account!
On that note, recall that resurrected Jesus quoted biblical verses from multiple prophets to the Nephites during his visitation. Now, suppose Jesus appeared to a group of Latter-day Saints in the year 1830 and offered a lengthy sermon to include direct quotations from Mosiah 21:28 and Ether 4:1 as the members followed along with their books open.
SERIOUS QUESTION:
Which king would Jesus have named© while quoting the Book of Mormon?
Mosiah 21:28
[x] Benjamin
[x] Mosiah
Ether 4:1
[x] Benjamin
[x] Mosiah
