I was taught that the church is led by God. Does God make whoppers like this? Is God unable to make his will known to man?
We apologetically say that these are the errors of men. That must mean that God is unable to make his will known to man. When man as a whole begins to see the folly of racism, then God's prophets, through pressure of society, begin to see it as well.

I think some apologists argue that God was unwilling. In the end apologists make God into one really stupid entity.
What it shows (yet again) is that the LDS Church is a creation of man that has always been led by men.
The quality of this leadership over time is indicated in the number of its actions, teachings and doctrine that must be repudiated, denied, or changed by the prophets, ignored by the members, and excused by the apologists.

David Hume: "---Mistakes in philosophy are merely ridiculous, those in religion are dangerous."
DrW: "Mistakes in science are learning opportunities and are eventually corrected."
You mean to say DrW is not yet another Willsock? I laughed out loud again. That would be only the second time Will was funny. Scratch one. I mean minus one.
