"Baptism is the second ugliest word in the English language to a Jew - The first is gassed. The third is raped."
"Baptism is a Christian ceremony that is particularly repugnant to Jews. It reminds us of the centuries of persecution against Jews where our ancestors were given a choice; be baptized or suffer death."

There has been a long and observable pattern of rather gross disrespect for Jewish customs on the part of Dr. Peterson. Whether it's him being a dumb and obnoxious kid and mocking the Jewish wedding ceremony, or callously telling them that they must accept proxy baptisms because "Jews have precious few friends in the world," or the fact that he's friends with someone like Bill Hamblin, who will sling around the "k-word" just for the sake of polemics--the fact is that there is a long history of him doing this sort of thing. It's enormously disrespectful, and it ought to stop.
Scratch, could you elaborate on the incident regarding Dan mocking the Jewish wedding ceremony as a child? Where is this cited?
He went on some kind of trip to Israel when he was a young man. It's documented here:

You'll want to click on the link to the "Journal of our Journey", and scroll down to the entry from May 23, 1978:
Our next ham was the ever famous Rabbi Dan Peterson, the authority on bathroom facilities and Kosher laws. We had many questions to ask him. “Yes, we are marketing prayer shawls for swimming.” “Yes, orange falafels are Kosher.” “Yes, I’m upset that there aren’t bathroom facilities on the bus, but an idea has not been conceived yet to install some.” The shocker of the day was Jennifer Graves! Not only did she publicly sit on a boy’s lap but Rabbi Peterson performed a Jewish wedding ceremony for her right on the bus.
I actually posted on this a few years ago--it's something that Dan refers to whenever he spouts off his usual litany on how evil/obsessive/stalkerish I am. (The link was actually sent to me by another poster here.)

This "unknown little church" is about 14,000,000 now and growing fast, and it will continue to grow until it fulfills the prophecy of Daniel and fills the whole earth. The one obscure verse did not have to be mentioned much since the saints already knew what they were doing, and did "The Interpreters Bible" and many other learned ones.

Some would say it is already fulfilled, but then prophesy is always so vague that one can interpret almost anyway they want to.

Maybe so, but if they do, then they do not understand the prophecies of Daniel. Daniel prophesied that this kingdom would destroy all of the worldly kingdoms, which obviously has not happened yet, and that it would stand forever (see Daniel, chapter 2). He also prophesied that beasts (representing earthly kingdoms) would be destroyed by fire and that other kingdoms would have their dominion taken away, and that the ancient of days (referring to Adam) would reign for a time on earth until Christ would come, with the clouds of heaven, to the earth where Christ would reign (see Daniel, chapter 7)!

Of those 14,000,000 how many still believe enough to attend regularly and pay tithing?
and it will continue to grow until it fulfills the prophecy of Daniel and fills the whole earth.
When you say 'fills' do you mean every being on earth will be a Mormon or do you mean every country on earth has at least one Mormon?

I don't want to misinterpret Daniel's prophecy, but he does state that the little stone which represents the kingdom of God will grow into a great mountain and fill the whole earth. I'm confident that at the beginning of the millennium there will be many righteous "non-Mormons" upon the earth, however, at the end of the millennium the Book of revelation tells of the time when Satan will be let loose and influence a great host to encompass the saints that will be destroyed. Then the earth will change again to a celestial glory, with no more sea, and be inherited by the worthy saints.
