Now you are reinterpreting what she said to try and make it fit with what you want to believe.
Dr Mary Neal - the example you used in the OP; stated that she met with and conversed with Jesus, whom she said gave her instructions.
If we assume for a moment that she actually did meet with Jesus (I think you believe she did based on you bringing the subject up in the OP) you have to consider that He didn't tell her to join the Mormon Church. You also have to consider that, amongst all the worthy Priesthood holders in the Church, Jesus chose a non Mormon, non Priesthood holding woman, to visit with and to directly, face to face, commune with and instruct.
If it happened the way she said it happened, it makes the Mormon Church a fraud.
