So president Faust was a non believing Mormon?

He grew up in an era when it was still possible to be a good Mormon and a Democrat. A better question to ask is did Faust reject any critical doctrines like all Democrats do today therefore becoming a bad Democrat in the process?

Your generalization is too broad BC.
It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener at war.

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

Not according to the Romans 1:32 principle. There are Democrats who claim they don't accept Socialism and the welfare state, or peace at all costs, or gay marriage, or abortion as a method of birth control, or feminism (third wave and higher) but but support the groups and individuals that do (Democrats among others). Thus, they fall into the "have pleasure (Greek: support/facilitate) in them that do them" category.

If he votes Democrat, he's an apostate and a traitor to God and country. Have you found him to be in disagreement with any of the LDS doctrines I listed above?

Up to now, I didn't find anything in the
- Bible
- Book of Mormon
- D&C
about parties.

No need for a direct mention. One merely compares with doctrine. Democrats are probably the largest group of Mormons who claim to be believing Mormons but aren't.

You seems to forget that Your church is a worldwide one, isn't it?

What have You to say to Hungarian church members about certain parties (in H.), for example
- The Movement for a Better Hungary (Jobbik), which is a radical nationalist political party - fascist, neo-fascist, anti-Semitic, anti-Roma (anti-Gypsy...) and homophobic
or
- Christian Democratic People's Party, which is the only party which stresses its religious bias (catholic!)

by the way wikipedia (is an authority?) says:
US a federal constitutional republic.

Is US a democratic country?
Is there democracy?
Has the word democracy different meaning in Mormon vocabulary?

You know, I am a miserable non-english. Sometimes i don't know the meaning of "is"...

Edited to add:
Please use the quote feature correctly.
Your "quote" doesn't make a difference of Your one and my one.

Pls!
- Whenever a poet or preacher, chief or wizard spouts gibberish, the human race spends centuries deciphering the message. - Umberto Eco
- To assert that the earth revolves around the sun is as erroneous as to claim that Jesus was not born of a virgin. - Cardinal Bellarmine at the trial of Galilei

I'm so glad you cleared that up. Would you care to back it up with some evidence or does my mere asking for evidence act as a disqualifier?

Let me guess. This era is designated at BBC. Before Bc. In that era the Church was a church and not combined with a political entity.
