The Non-Apology - yet another tactic of the passive-aggressive!

I love this board, but one of the down sides is that people occasionally come here to tell us what God thinks.

You must have somehow gotten your threads mixed up.

I weary of that.

Well, that's a trivial problem with an easy fix.

It's so presumptuous.

It would be if someone was presuming, wouldn't it?

You know what, Q, don't even worry about it. I don't want to wait for another 30-45 minutes for your next attempt at a passive-aggressive zinger.

You win. You can have the last word, however many you care to spend. Please, be as verbose as you care to be.

Hence, the wink.

You will have to up your game a little to successfully post here. This is not your average message board.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

Sorry for the slow reply. Doing some other stuff along with posting here. I always try to keep my posts terse. Less is better.

I always enjoy your posts, my Martian friend. Post as much as you would like. I just assume that the less people hear from ME, the happier they will be.

I think if you enter "contract law" into Google's search engine, you will get helpful links on that issue. As for me, I haven't a use for sideshow nor distraction.

It is not a distraction, it must be a real consideration. Matthew 27:46 records how the Savior had a moment (however fleeting) where He cried out with the real belief that He had been "forsaken" by His Father. Now, this cry is not the cry of the godhead, but of the man...the body...the same man and body that had prayed to God, that had believed in God, and had obeyed God.
This is arguably the most "human" moment in all of Christ's life - and that is hardly a sideshow or a distraction...and surely not a moment of hypocrisy for the Savior.
Just as David cried out in Psalm 22:1 we notice a Desertion by God, when overwhelmed by distress, is the climax of the sufferer's misery. These are not irrational cries of pain, but rather intelligent and deliberate "shouts"....

....So, who has failed in their obligation as depicted by David, as depicted by Christ?

I mention this not to "derail" your assertions, but rather to understand how you came to the position which you promote in the OP.

Just an FYI, subgenius. Log has left the board, dusting off his shoes and cursing us all.

That's too bad. I'd like to have heard the answer to Subby's excellent (and eloquent) question.
