You folks need to look at a true man of miracles. I give you Joao de Deus www.healingbrazil.com .
It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener at war.

Some of us, on the other hand, actually prefer a religion that includes some type of correlation with reality.

The young man and his family were brought in by the authorities for questioning, and it was well documented. However, since it was long ago, I'm confident that you guys will feel safer with that.

Well documented? Where can the story be found other than the account in the Bible written by someone who was not there?

again, you seem to avoid (or can not grasp) the notion of what a "miracle" actually is and what the word actually means.
Even if Jonah was dead in the belly, God surely could have brought him back to life...and even if some air is known to present in a large aquatic and the idiom of 3 days is actually just 38 hours, God surely could sustain Jonah on less if it was His desire.
And for your own amusement you should investigate when the digestive process (ie intro of "acids") begins for most aquatic creatures.

So, when the term "possible" is attempted to be applied to "miracle" it only illuminates that there is little grasp on the concept of either terms by the critics. What makes a thing miraculous is that it by all measure rather "impossible".

O Jehovah, forgive me of my wrongdoings and spare me from the terror of the deep. Deliver me from the belly of this fish in which you have cast me and show mercy upon your unworthy servant. I will offer sacrifices unto you, O Jehovah, I will worship you towards your holy hill in which I desire to return. O God, do not let this stomach acid of this aweful beast soil my clothes or burn my skin. Protect me, O Jehovah from any harm while I ride in the belly of this beast in the deepness of the seas in which you have cast me. Thou art a kind and loving God! Let me have air to breath while suffering in the belly of this beast and let me not smell the stench that soaks my nostrils. O Jehovah, my skin burns -- hear thy servant! I'm in pain!!

You think magic is real. You're not entitled to call anyone stupid.
