No, I'm not. I was pitting one Evangelical ideology against another. If one accepts that the New Testament contains the verbatim words of Christ, then Christ must be lying, since his prophecy failed. That Christ's prophecy failed is another question. Really the point was just to get someone to engage the argument about Christ's prophecy. You've managed to turn it into a phenomenally childish distraction.

No, I'm not listening to that. You said you provided an argument. All you have to do is link me to the post where you addressed my concerns. I'm beginning to think that there was never any such post, and that you just lied. Can you prove me wrong? I will be happy to apologize and to fully engage your argument if you can just provide the link to the place where you directly addressed my claim that Christ includes his second coming in "all these things." It's as simple as that.

Dodging again.
Riding on a speeding train; trapped inside a revolving door;
Lost in the riddle of a quatrain; Stuck in an elevator between floors.
One focal point in a random world can change your direction:
One step where events converge may alter your perception.

No you weren't. What you wrote, you wrote. You only are saying so after the fact. You won't tell us what you personally believe, so that is where it stands.

Oh, good grief. You don't honestly thing anybody buys this crap, do you? At this point it's painfully obvious that you never did engage my concerns, but you're too proud to admit it or even try to go back and come up with an argument. At least when you pointed out I was wrong two years ago I was man enough to admit it. That's too much to expect from you, evidently. Any time you want to prove me wrong, or even admit you were wrong but provide another argument anyway, I'll be happy to revisit the discussion. Until then, I am not wasting my time with this cowardice.

You did that all by yourself.

Again we have a fundie declaring that no one may tell them what they are thinking or saying, but they have all authority to declare what everyone else is thinking or saying. Like I said before, you guys need a new script. This is just bush league.

I did engage your concerns? (hardly). I engaged your comments. You refuse to engage my argument and have from the beginning. Instead you give some blanket statement, not based on any facts at all. No quotes, nothing. Just Daniel's opinion. Well, I'm not going to settle for that. You called Jesus a liar, and then after the fact try and portray it as something else. Not buying that either, because you won't say if you believe it. Good, leave. That is what you do best.

Show me where, please, because I can't find the post. I don't understand the refusal to prove me wrong. If you had engaged my comments, all you have to do is link me to the post and I would be forced to admit I am wrong, as I've shown I'm more than happy to do. It's as simple as that. Doing that one thing would prove me wrong and shut me up. Instead you continue to just bark rhetorical jabs at me? That makes no sense. It just suggests to everyone here that you never did address my concerns, and you're hiding behind insults to distract from it. If that assessment is wrong, just link me to your post and prove it. I am being perfectly open and honest here. I'm just asking you to do the same.

Insults? FUNDIE? What is that? Only used as a derogatory slur. I called you arrogant and your posts exude it. And I'm not even a Fundamentalist. Your platitudes here are a testament to your skill at dodging questions. You said what you said. Live with it.
