Aren't women drawn to strong men? If so, how strong is too strong?

I have heard it said that you already have it -- you're born with it. It's men who need need to "earn" it.

I don't want to get into a huge argument. There is no need to be sensitive about this, since I agree with you, I just think women are naturally better at a lot of things.

Simon, why do you have such a low opinion of men?
If women are born with the priesthood why are they barred from using it fully and publicly by the LDS church (who, by the way, says that women do NOT hold the priesthood)?

It placed a huge emphisis on motherhood, giving it near godlike status. It made clear that men and women had seperate "sphere's."
I believe the pedestal is damaging to both women and men. I don't want my boys being told that girls are better than they are, nor do I want my girl told that she can't do certain things just because she has a uterus. Makes me sad.
This is a very good point! The concept is written into the endowment - for anyone familar with the differences between the woman and the man's "washing" ordinance.

I didn't say women hold the priesthood. I said they are ordained with the power of God from birth. I don't have a low opinion of men, I think we're all God's children.

If women are so great (you said above men) then why can't they be ordained to priesthood office in the church?

The only answer I can give you is my opinion.
My opinion is that the priesthood is designed for men in such a way that they have to earn it by learning to display and incorporate some of the virtues that women are born with.

"power" is the priesthood.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

What does a 12 year old boy do to display these qualities that "earn" him the priesthood?
What is the equal power and authority to the Melc. PH that women are naturally born with?
