God was not the fickle one. More than one of Joseph's revelations were just Joseph being Joseph.
(Nevo, Jan 23) And the Melchizedek Priesthood may not have been restored until the summer of 1830, several months after the organization of the Church.

Explicitly yes. 2 Samuel 12:7-11

What are you saying? God was not happy with David. And here it says God will punish David by having having all his wives involved in adultery. No where is there a blessing from God to have more than one wife.

Just because people engage in a particular behavior, doesn't suggest that God blesses it. What is its purpose except to the one engaging in the experience. For a religion to be built around such practices one needs to show that the one being worshipped is gorified. If not, then the point is mute.

Are you saying God did not bless Abraham?

LittleNipper, for someone that states they are a Bible Literalist, I'm shocked and amazed you don't accept polygamy. It is literally taught and lived by the Patriarchs of the Bible after all. I don't think you are what you claim to be.
