The Priesthood was started with Aaron, no Priests before except Jesus

Hebrews 3
1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus; The Law is fulfilled by the two top commandments. They have been around since the beginning so anyone who says we don't have to follow them is just nuts.

Now there is a church period and a restored church period. But my intent is to ponder the boundaries. It is true that God does not change. But times and seasons do happen on the earth. I think we are to see them.

Why would The Church have to be restored when Jesus did a great job 2000 years ago ? He bought it with his own Blood

Why do you place so much faith in man?

Joh 8:40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

Man who can not see God standing before him. Man who kills the prophets and wars with his fellow man. Man who attempts to rule the earth using the name of Christ. Man who judges man to hell because of false faith. Is this the men who you trust to keep the Word without blemish? Surely you jest.

I think we need to go back to the book of Genesis in the Bible, and also to the Book of Moses in the Pearl of Great Price. Then study the same verses and chapters over and over and over again. By my personally doing so, I discovered more hints in the very words themselves - but only with the sought for guidance of the Holy Spirit.

It seems to me that it is very possible that when the earth becomes a Urim and Thummim for those who will live on it under Christ's rule (as it will no longer be the dominion of Satan), and the old earth perishes, that the old earth will then become available once more for another new dispensation of spirits made in the image of God, to start the entire process over again. God uses what "is" over and over again....reforming again what already exists. This would be an efficient use of the elements. I don't know what this looks like, though, and am interested to hear what others might think.

For us to be co-heirs, and for us to be able to inherit our own nations, and kingdoms, and principalities, would entail our traversing through the eternities the same way Christ has (here I am using Christ as a Title). For those who believe that the Savior of this particular earth we are now living on, will be known as the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings, over a Celestialized world which will be the renewed earth, then where will the Telestial world/Heaven be? Where will the Terrestrial world/Heaven be? Also, if we take into consideration the worlds without end, and that this "creating" of worlds will continue without end, anything is possible. Could it be that the earth we now live on, once it has perished and been renewed (similar to our souls taking on incorruption) by shedding the old earth make the old earth available for another beginning? Will a different spirit be chosen to be the "Christ" for the old earth's new beginning? Remember we have eternities to exist and progress through.

Blessings,

Jo, frank, et al.,
Any idea when any of these glorious events will take place, and we will pass from this current dispensation?

Source for streets paved with gold D&C 137:
A vision given to Joseph Smith in the temple at Kirtland, Ohio, January 21, 1836. History of the Church 2:380-81.

The heavens were opened upon us, and I beheld the celestial kingdom of God, and the glory thereof, whether in the body or out I cannot tell.

I saw the transcendent beauty of the gate through which the heirs of that kingdom will enter, which was like unto circling flames of fire;

Also the blazing throne of God, whereon was seated the Father and the Son.

I saw the beautiful streets of that kingdom, which had the appearance of being paved with gold.

In the Book of Daniel and elsewhere we have evil spirits described and we also are told about their organization. They have different levels of authority and can be associated with defined areas or people. We are told that in time some who are worthy will become Kings in God's Kingdom. I wonder if we will be as spirits to the people on the earth. As Jesus throws off the structure of Satan I have to wonder if good spirits will replace those evil ones. I assume that we will not have to deal with evil spirits in the same way that the messengers of God had to in Daniel's time. Maybe this assumption is wrong.

Yes, when Jesus Christ returns in glory for all to see. That is the sign that this dispensation is over.

Well, I am asking for some manipulation of the Daniel prophecies to come up with a more concise date. I know a couple of board members already believe we are in the millenium. The JWs have published a date based on the Daniel machinations.

So I am asking for Frank's, Jo's etc. dates. Best guess even, +- 50 years.
