Runtu wrote:I dunno. You keep saying that if Isaiah didn't write all of the book of Isaiah, then it can't be true. That makes no sense.
Or maybe he just wrote the whole book and that is why they are true, but I'm just spitballing.

I should make an infomercial for late night TV then.

He didn't.

Another big clue here is that Isaiah was a monolatrist, while Deutero-Isaiah was a monotheist.

But which do he like better coke or pepsi? Clearly, if he says pepsi, then Isaiah couldn't have written it since he is obviously a coke man.

Well, they aren't true are they?

That's an odd position. Is everything that Isaiah didn't write false?

Quite a lot of the Bible is pseudepigrapha. It was a common practice. Whether something is pseudepigrapha or not does not speak to whether or not it is true.

I have it on good authority that Isaiah was a strictly beer and nachoes guy. Deutero-Isaiah was into energy drinks and ginseng.

Ah I see. So prophets had a habit of writing down false information in the scriptures to throw a monkey-wrench in the works. So, how do we know what parts are true and which are false then. Let's start with the basics: God or not God? If they got that wrong, boy are we in big trouble.
