I'm new to this board, but on the two others I frequent I've heard Dan's name said. Now, I don't know Dan, nor am I from Utah, something that seems to be a detriment to me here. But I just cannot believe he really believes all this mush.

I have no objection to that.
The author also claimed:
1. He translated the Book of Mormon from Golden Plates - do you believe that?
2. He was commanded by an Angel with a flaming sword to marry multiple women - do you believe that?
I suppose, the question is, do you believe all of Joseph's claims or just the ones that fit what you personally wish to think and believe?
This isn't meant to sound as an attack so apologies if it does. I am just interested in your process for determining when and if you believe the things Joseph claimed.
