Is it an invasion of non-LDS or is the Church just getting
SMALLER &
SmAlLeR &
smAlleR &
smaller....as a proportion of population?

Maybe that is becuase you failed to provide the CFR. This talks about one ingredient. Plenty of studies have shown decreased risk factors for certain health problems. You wanted to say that one would need to drink enough to trash their liver in order to get any health benefits. Again CFR.

jskains wrote:This statement is not a comparison between wine and beer. Those liquors generally classified as "spirits" are much, much stronger than wine. Wine is not "one of the strongest drinks out there." I appreciate that you were trying to talk about what might have been the original intent of the WoW, but in doing so you made this silly claim. You did not say that wine is generally stronger than beer, but that it is "one of the strongest drinks out there."

Your building a case on technicallity. It's uninteresting. The reality is Beer and Ale (which I clearly indicated) was what was not on the Wow ban. Wine was. Specifically Wine is even mentioned. So while your busy creating an unnessesary distraction, your avoiding the reality of my original comment that Wine was in fact originally banned by the Wow from day 1.

"That inasmuch as any man drinketh wine or strong drink among you, behold it is not good, neither meet in the sight of your Father, only in assembling yourselves together to offer up your sacraments before him."

You tend to throw statements and sentences around with abandon. The connections that might be in your head aren't making it to the screen.

That seems like a personal problem for you.

If you really want to stay healthy, drink alcohol moderately, drink coffee moderately, and flog the dolphin moderately. Don't get your health advice from con men.

No.. In your dreams perhaps. While not as fantastic as some assume, the active LDS population growth is still increasing. The net ward increase for those 1.9 million recorded LDS in Utah is still real. It's just got the fast growing religion some LDS imagine.

Nice try on the quick church swipe.

In your mind I failed to provide it. I am satisfied and since I am not your female dog, I have no obligation to dance to your game.

The use of "or" tells us that wine was not considered strong drink. Also, wine drinking is specifically commanded on Sundays. Thanks.

Already have, thanks.

Or do you not consider pretending to be able to see hidden treasure and charging people for the service a con?

I think hating a group so actively you spend time yapping about it on a public internet form is far more of a con. You push the lies against the Church in order to flex your ego. :)
