Nice article but nothing there about the past being the same as today. And of course no proof. I did enjoy the quotes from Joseph Smith. I was not aware of them. They do make sense. When light shifts and does not produce a rainbow what will you do? Prophecy is for those who already believe. I don't believe a prophecy has brought anyone to God. Faith is faith and Jesus standing before many did not change their hearts. So if His physical presence could not do it then a change to rainbows will not do it either. So looking for proof means nothing.

Talk about a coincidence. Happen to come across this article. It may be total garbage but it just sets the mood for the future.

How odd that I would write about a theory that states that decay rates and other aspects of matter and energy were different in the past and this article shows up. How very odd indeed.

If the conditions were not conducive to rainbows, they were also not conducive to life.

alas, we have the direct personal insult....don't people get some "cooling off" time for such celestial behavior?...moderator?
i would, however, be curious if Buffalo could prove his claim here....and yes....my new signature line

Are you suggesting that there was no liquid water before the time of Noah?

To do would mean reinterpreting Genesis and the creation story...

Your statement is quite the leap. To eliminate rainbows we just need to change the speed of light slightly. This is very different from large bodies moving around in space at low speeds.
Thank you for your concern about my mental health. I seem to be doing just fine. As it turns out an open mind is very healthy.

Show your work. Then show that the speed of light was different 4,000 years ago.

I think I will work on this problem. I have research to do and then I will figure it out. As for proving the past I think I will not do that since you ask the impossible. Anyone who thinks they know the past is fooling them self. You can come up with theories but since we have little in direct observation the best we can come up with is a good guess. You can waste your time on those issues I will not.

So, you've got nothing. Got it.
I look forward to reading your "research" on light speed and rainbows, though.
