You will get no CFR from me. I obtained the information first hand from the descendants of the group. You should be able to receive first hand information as well if you seek it. Of course God would be a good person to ask as well. It is all out there Drifting. Get out of that chair and go talk to people.

Hi Drifting,

I feel anger and bitterness behind your desire to prove that there is no God. I wish to offer that you are right. There is no man with a grey beard sitting on a cloud in the sky deciding who he will help and who he will zap, and who will get to live with him in the clouds. This sort of idea about God - made in the image of man - is rightly rejected.

God is the Source of our Being. God is the Source of all Being, of all that we see in materialism and all that perceive in spirit.

If you look at the Old Testament, you will never see "God speaking". You will see Angels of the Lord appearing and speaking to men and women as Yahweh, and Holy Men and Women saying "Thus sayeth the Lord". God speaks in and though beings.

Those who are connected to their inner being will see and hear 'God' - the Source of their Being. This is what a pure heart does, allows us to 'see and hear God'.

God is speaking constantly, the Source of our Being is speaking constantly, through all beings. Sometimes a man or woman will hear God speak within them, or they will get a strong feeling or sense. Sometimes angels are inspired to speak to us, to warn us. Typically when there is danger and we are warned of it ahead of time, it is an angel speaking to us, for there are a multitude of angels working in this world, to assist humanity. We all have angels speaking to us, all the time, but not all of us can hear them.

So the reason it appears that God only saved the one group 80 years ago is because out of all the people camping there only one person could hear the warning from the angels, believed what he heard, and acted upon it.

If you want to know God, be still and listen.

Shalom!

Hi Sheryl!

This can be so confusing for mankind to wrap their heads around. Because of what we need to learn in order to "return" to God; in order to understand that "all of this" is for our own good because God DOES love us, it is difficult to grasp the "why".

I see that the purpose of the Bible (the purpose of all scripture, and all oral traditions, written traditions, and even communications which man has twisted wherein still lay some Truth) is so that God can begin to communicate with us at a level we can understand at our very basic and bestial awareness. Yet this same level will be a great stumbling block until we can see and hear with our spirit.

How wise and filled with wisdom are the instructions for us to be still and listen so that we can know God. Once our spirit begins to awaken, then all of these communications become precious and useful and contain a seeming endless source through which the Holy Ghost can pour knowledge and Truth into our spirit; helping us to filter Truth from falsehood. God continues to send us His Prophets and Apostles who help us and guide us and teach us how to keep a pathway open so that the Holy Spirit CAN keep knowledge and Truth flowing into our spirit until we are ready to see God and His Kingdom.

Daily my perception evolves; what was Truth as I understood it yesterday, becomes expanded Truth today....and also I become aware of new Truth which I have never been able to see or hear before. What a journey we are on!!!

I would be very much interested in hearing the names you are thinking about. My mind is opened to possibilities. Since my human brain is finite and limited in what it can imagine, and the possibilities for finding Truth are infinite, please share away.

Hello jo,

Two possible people who could have been the same soul as Jesus are Joseph and Joshua (the high priest). With regards to Joshua In zech 3: 1-8 and 6: 11-12 he is called the BRANCH. With regards to Joseph his two dreams are recorded in Genesis 37 6-10. The first dream was fulfilled during his lifetime. Teh second dream will be fulfilled in the future when Jacob and Rachel will bow to him.
May all your naps be joyous occasions.

I would like to add something to the following which I had posted previously:

Some other ancient texts also hint that John the Baptist was Elijah in a previous life. Now, we know that John the Baptist died by having his head cut off. Let’s take into consideration that Jesus also taught that he who lives by the sword will die by the sword; with what judgment we mete, the same will be meted to us; etc. So, look at 1Kings 18:40 where Elijah slew 450 Prophets of Baal. In other words, Elijah lived by the sword, but in that incarnation, he did not die by the sword; in fact, he did not die in that incarnation. He was taken to Heaven in a chariot. I want to continue searching for other possible clues in the Bible which could portray that the same spirit has been in more than one body.

First of all, in the sequence of events: John the Baptist was beheaded in Mark 6:15. The Transfiguration of Christ took place in Mark 9:4. Remember that Peter, James and John saw Moses and Elijah standing with Jesus. This would be possible since the body of John the Baptist had already been destroyed, thus allowing the spirit of Elijah to return to Elijah's body which had not been destroyed due to the fact Elijah was taken while he was still alive in a chariot up to heaven.

Also, there is this verse from Luke 1:17

Luke 1:17 (KJV) (speaking about John the Baptist)

And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Interesting, yes?

Blessings,

jo

Jo, you seem to be ignoring me.
Is that because you think I am too young or because you cannot support your words with actual examples?

I would like you to provide some examples of where you think God has spoken to us through 'prophets all over the world'.
Howabout you list a single specific example of God speaking to us during the last 12 months from say three different religions?

Jo, are you a coward or were you being less than honest with us?

I would say Jo is not a fool! For no matter what we say about God speaking, you reject it. God speaks all the time through his prophets and apostles, I can send you links to their websites, but then I would be the fool!

Shabbat Shalom!
