Psalm 96:1-13 Sing a different tune to the Lord all the earth.
Sing to the Lord, praise his name; proclaim his all the time.
Share His glory and spectacular deeds to the nations.
The Lord is great and most worthy of praise. He is to be feared above any gods.
For all those national gods are fakes, but the Lord made the heavens.
Splendor and majesty surround Him; strength and glory are part of his sanctuary.
All you families of nations, attribute to the Lord glory and strength.
Attribute to the Lord the glory due Him; bring an offering and come into his courts.
Worship the Lord in the magnificence of His holiness; tremble before him, all the earth.
Spread throughout the nations, “God is in control.” The world is fully established, it cannot be changed; He will judge the peoples with impartiality.
Let the sky, space and heaven rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and everything in it.
Let the fields be joyous along with everything in them; let all the trees of the forest sing for joy.
Let all creation rejoice before the Lord, for He arrives to judge the earth righteously and the people faithfully.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 Sing to Jehovah a new song, Sing to Jehovah all the earth.
2 Sing to Jehovah, bless His name, Proclaim from day to day His salvation.
3 Declare among nations His honour, Among all the peoples His wonders.
4 For great [is] Jehovah, and praised greatly, Fearful He [is] over all gods.
5 For all the gods of the peoples [are] nought, And Jehovah made the heavens.
6 Honour and majesty [are] before Him, Strength and beauty in His sanctuary.
7 Ascribe to Jehovah, O families of the peoples, Ascribe to Jehovah honour and strength.
9 Bow yourselves to Jehovah, In the honour of holiness, Be afraid of His presence, all the earth.
10 Say among nations, `Jehovah hath reigned, Also -- established is the world, unmoved, He judgeth the peoples in uprightness.'
11 The heavens joy, and the earth is joyful, The sea and its fulness roar.
12 The field exulteth, and all that [is] in it, Then sing do all trees of the forest,
13 Before Jehovah, for He hath come, For He hath come to judge the earth. He judgeth the world in righteousness, And the peoples in His faithfulness!

Psalm 97:1-12
God's in charge, now there's something to shout over -- mainlands and islands—celebrate!
Bright clouds and storm clouds surround him. Righteousness and justice anchor his rule.
Fire blazes out before him --- consuming His adversaries.
His lightning light up the world; Earth, wide-eyed, trembles in fear.
The mountains melt like wax before the Lord.
The heavens proclaim that he’ll set everything right, and everyone will see it happen!
All who serve handcrafted gods will be sorry—and they were so proud by their artwork!
On your knees, all you gods—worship him! Zion, listen and take heart!
Daughters of Zion, sing out: God straightened out everything.
You, God, are High God of the cosmos, above any gods.
God loves all who hate evil, and those who love Him are safe, snatching them from the hold of the wicked.
Seeds of light are planted in the souls of God’s people, and seeds of joy are planted in good heart-soil.
God’s people, shout praises to God. Give thanks to our Holy God!
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 Jehovah hath reigned, The earth is joyful, many isles rejoice.
2 Cloud and darkness [are] round about Him, Righteousness and judgment the basis of His throne.
3 Fire before Him goeth, And burneth round about His adversaries.
4 Lightened have His lightnings the world, The earth hath seen, and is pained.
5 Hills, like wax, melted before Jehovah, Before the Lord of all the earth.
6 The heavens declared His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His honour.
7 Ashamed are all servants of a graven image, Those boasting themselves in idols, Bow yourselves to him, all ye gods.
8 Zion hath heard and rejoiceth, And daughters of Judah are joyful, Because of Thy judgments, O Jehovah.
9 For Thou, Jehovah, [art] Most High over all the earth, Greatly Thou hast been exalted over all gods.
10 Ye who love Jehovah, hate evil, He is keeping the souls of His saints, From the hand of the wicked he delivereth them.
11 Light [is] sown for the righteous, And for the upright of heart -- joy.
12 Rejoice, ye righteous, in Jehovah, And give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness!

Psalm 98:1-9 A song
Sing to the Lord a new song, for He has done fantastic things. His right hand (Christ) and holy arm (Holy Spirit) have carried out salvation for Him.
The Lord has proclaimed salvation and revealed His righteousness to the nations.
He has remembered His love and faithfulness to Israel. The entire earth has observed God's salvation.
Shout joyously to the Lord, all the earth, burst into jubilant song with music.
Strike up the band to the Lord with the harp, singing, trumpets and the blast of the ram’s horn— shout joyously before the Lord, the King.
Let the sea roar, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.
Let the rivers clap together, let the mountains sing together for joy;
Let them sing before the Lord, for He arrives to judge the earth. He will judge in righteousness and all the people with objectivity.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 A Psalm. Sing ye to Jehovah a new song, For wonders He hath done, Given salvation to Him hath His right hand and His holy arm.
2 Jehovah hath made known His salvation, Before the eyes of the nations, He hath revealed His righteousness,
3 He hath remembered His kindness, And His faithfulness to the house of Israel, All ends of earth have seen the salvation of our God.
4 Shout to Jehovah, all the earth, Break forth, and cry aloud, and sing.
5 Sing to Jehovah with harp, With harp, and voice of praise,
6 With trumpets, and voice of a cornet, Shout ye before the king Jehovah.
7 Roar doth the sea and its fulness, The world and the inhabitants in it.
8 Floods clap hand, together hills cry aloud,
9 Before Jehovah, For He hath come to judge the earth, He judgeth the world in righteousness, And the people in uprightness!

Psalm 99:1-9
The Lord rules. Let the nations tremble.
He sits on his throne between the cherubim. Let the earth shake.
Great is the Lord in Zion. He is honored above any nation.
Let them praise his great and wonderful name. He is holy.
The King is mighty and loves justice. He has set up the rules for fairness. He has done what is right and equitable for the people of Jacob.
Honor the Lord God. Worship at his feet. He is holy.
Moses and Aaron were His 2 priests. Samuel was one who worshiped Him. They cried to the Lord. And He responded.
He communicated to them from the pillar cloud. They obeyed his laws and the orders he gave them.
Lord God, you answered them. You showed Israel that you forgiving. But when they did wrong, you punished them.
Honor the Lord our God. Worship at his holy hill. The Lord our God is holy.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 Jehovah hath reigned, peoples tremble, The Inhabitant of the cherubs, the earth shaketh.
2 Jehovah in Zion [is] great, And high He [is] over all the peoples.
3 They praise Thy name, `Great, and fearful, holy [it] is.'
4 And the strength of the king Hath loved judgment, Thou -- Thou hast established uprightness; Judgment and righteousness in Jacob, Thou -- Thou hast done.
5 Exalt ye Jehovah our God, And bow yourselves at His footstool, holy [is] He.
6 Moses and Aaron among His priests, And Samuel among those proclaiming His name. They are calling unto Jehovah, And He doth answer them.
7 In a pillar of cloud He speaketh unto them, They have kept His testimonies, And the statute He hath given to them.
8 O Jehovah, our God, Thou hast afflicted them, A God forgiving Thou hast been to them, And taking vengeance on their actions.
9 Exalt ye Jehovah our God, And bow yourselves at His holy hill, For holy [is] Jehovah our God!

Psalm 101:1-8 A song of David.
Of kindness and judgment I sing to my dear Lord, I sing praise.
I will be careful to live blamelessly. When will You come to me? I will walk through my abode with a righteous heart out of habit.
I will idolize no sinful thing. I despise the work of those who are not faithful. Such will not control me.
A sinful heart will be far from me. I will shun sin.
I will not listen to gossip, nor listen to those with a proud look and intent.
My eyes will look favorably on faithful citizens, so they may serve me. He who walks blamelessly will assist me.
He who follows lies will not remain in my house. He who tells lies will not stand before me.
I will drive out all the sinful in the land at the start of a new dawn. I will drive out all those who do wrong from the city of the Lord.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 A Psalm of David. Kindness and judgment I sing, To Thee, O Jehovah, I sing praise.
2 I act wisely in a perfect way, When dost Thou come in unto me? I walk habitually in the integrity of my heart, In the midst of my house.
3 I set not before mine eyes a worthless thing, The work of those turning aside I have hated, It adhereth not to me.
4 A perverse heart turneth aside from me, Wickedness I know not.
5 Whoso slandereth in secret his neighbour, Him I cut off, The high of eyes and proud of heart, him I endure not.
6 Mine eyes are on the faithful of the land, To dwell with me, Whoso is walking in a perfect way, he serveth me.
7 He dwelleth not in my house who is working deceit, Whoso is speaking lies Is not established before mine eyes.
8 At morning I cut off all the wicked of the land, To cut off from the city of Jehovah All the workers of iniquity!
Of kindness and judgment I sing to my dear Lord, I sing praise.
I will be careful to live blamelessly. When will You come to me? I will walk through my abode with a righteous heart out of habit.

Re: Bible verse by verse
Psalm 102:1-28
A Prayer of the tormented & feeble --- openly revealed to the Lord
Hear my prayer, Lord; let my cry for help arrive.
Do not hide from me when I'm in trouble. Listen to me; when I call, answering quickly.
For my days vanish like smoke; my bones consumed like glowing embers.
My heart is blighted and withered like grass. I cannot eat food.
In distress I groan loudly and I'm reduced to skin and bones.
I am like a desert owl among the ruins.
I lie awake; I have become as a bird alone on a roof.
All day long my enemies tease me; those who yell against me use curse my name.
I eat ashes as my food and mingle my drinking with tears because of your tremendous wrath. For you have lifted me up and thrown me away.
My days are like the evening shadow; I wither away like grass.
But you, Lord, sit enthroned forever; your renown continues throughout all generations.
You will get up and have compassion on Zion, for the chosen time to favor her has arrived.
For her ruins are dear to your servants; her very dust moves them to pity.
All nations will fear the name of the Lord, all the kings of earth will honour your glory.
For the Lord will reestablish Zion and arrive in his glory.
He will respond to the prayer of the destitute; he will not despise their cry.
Let this be written for a future generation, that a people not yet born may praise the Lord:
“The Lord looked down from his sanctuary on high, from heaven viewing the earth, to listen to the groans of the prisoners and save those condemned to death.”
The name of the Lord will be proclaimed in Zion and his praise in Jerusalem when the nations assemble to worship the Lord.
In the course of my life He took my abilities and shortened my days.
So I said: “Do not take me away, my God, in midlife; your years continue through all generations.
In the beginning You laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are Your workmanship.
They will perish, but You remain; they will all wear out like a garment. Like clothing You will exchange them and they will be tossed.
But You remain unchanged, and Your years will never cease.
The children of Your servants will live in Your presence; their descendants will be established before You."
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 A Prayer of the afflicted when he is feeble, and before Jehovah poureth out his plaint. O Jehovah, hear my prayer, yea, my cry to Thee cometh.
2 Hide not Thou Thy face from me, In a day of mine adversity, Incline unto me Thine ear, In the day I call, haste, answer me.
3 For consumed in smoke have been my days, And my bones as a fire-brand have burned.
4 Smitten as the herb, and withered, is my heart, For I have forgotten to eat my bread.
5 From the voice of my sighing Hath my bone cleaved to my flesh.
6 I have been like to a pelican of the wilderness, I have been as an owl of the dry places.
7 I have watched, and I am As a bird alone on the roof.
8 All the day mine enemies reproached me, Those mad at me have sworn against me.
9 Because ashes as bread I have eaten, And my drink with weeping have mingled,
10 From Thine indignation and Thy wrath, For Thou hast lifted me up, And dost cast me down.
11 My days as a shadow [are] stretched out, And I -- as the herb I am withered.
12 And Thou, O Jehovah, to the age abidest, And Thy memorial to all generations.
13 Thou -- Thou risest -- Thou pitiest Zion, For the time to favour her, For the appointed time hath come.
14 For Thy servants have been pleased with her stones, And her dust they favour.
15 And nations fear the name of Jehovah, And all kings of the earth Thine honour,
16 For Jehovah hath builded Zion, He hath been seen in His honour,
17 He turned unto the prayer of the destitute, And He hath not despised their prayer.
18 This is written for a later generation, And the people created do praise Jah.
19 For He hath looked From the high place of His sanctuary. Jehovah from heaven unto earth looked attentively,
20 To hear the groan of the prisoner, To loose sons of death,
21 To declare in Zion the name of Jehovah, And His praise in Jerusalem,
22 In the peoples being gathered together, And the kingdoms -- to serve Jehovah.
23 He hath humbled in the way my power, He hath shortened my days.
24 I say, `My God, take me not up in the midst of my days,' Through all generations [are] Thine years.
25 Beforetime the earth Thou didst found, And the work of Thy hands [are] the heavens.
26 They -- They perish, and Thou remainest, And all of them as a garment become old, As clothing Thou changest them, And they are changed.
27 And Thou [art] the same, and Thine years are not finished.
28 The sons of Thy servants do continue, And their seed before Thee is established!

Re: Bible verse by verse
Psalm 103:1-22 Song of David.
Praise the Lord, inside out with all my being --- praise His holy name.
Praise the Lord again ---- forget none of His kind acts.
He forgives all my sins. He heals all my illness.
He saves lives from the grave. He crowns with loving-kindness and pity.
He fills my years with good things and I am made young again like the eagle.
The Lord does what is right and fair for all who suffer under oppressive rule.
He made His ways known to Moses and His acts to the people of Israel.
The Lord is full of loving-pity and kindness. He preservers long and has much loving-kindness.
Yet, He will not always keep after us. And He will not withhold His anger forever.
He has not punished us enough for all our sins. He has not paid us back for every wrong-doing.
For His loving-kindness for those who regard Him is as full as the heavens are high above the earth.
He has taken our sins from us as far as the east is from the west.
The Lord takes loving-pity on those who regard Him, as a father has loving-pity for his children.
He knows our makeup. He remembers that we are dirt.
The days of man are like grass. He matures like a flower of the field.
With a windstorm, it is gone. Its location will think of it no more.
But the loving-kindness of the Lord is forever and forever on those who regard Him. And what is right according to God is provided forever to their children’s children, to those who keep His agreement and remember to obey His Commandments.
The Lord has established His throne in the heavens, and rules over all.
Praise the Lord, you powerful angels of His who obey Him --- listening to His voice as He speaks!
Praise the Lord, all you armies of His who work for Him and do what satisfies Him.
Praise the Lord, all His works in all He reigns. Praise the Lord --- inside out!
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 By David. Bless, O my soul, Jehovah, And all my inward parts -- His Holy Name.
2 Bless, O my soul, Jehovah, And forget not all His benefits,
3 Who is forgiving all thine iniquities, Who is healing all thy diseases,
4 Who is redeeming from destruction thy life, Who is crowning thee -- kindness and mercies,
5 Who is satisfying with good thy desire, Renew itself as an eagle doth thy youth.
6 Jehovah is doing righteousness and judgments For all the oppressed.
7 He maketh known His ways to Moses, To the sons of Israel His acts.
8 Merciful and gracious [is] Jehovah, Slow to anger, and abundant in mercy.
9 Not for ever doth He strive, Nor to the age doth He watch.
10 Not according to our sins hath He done to us, Nor according to our iniquities Hath He conferred benefits upon us.
11 For, as the height of the heavens [is] above the earth, His kindness hath been mighty over those fearing Him.
12 As the distance of east from west He hath put far from us our transgressions.
13 As a father hath mercy on sons, Jehovah hath mercy on those fearing Him.
14 For He hath known our frame, Remembering that we [are] dust.
15 Mortal man! as grass [are] his days, As a flower of the field so he flourisheth;
16 For a wind hath passed over it, and it is not, And its place doth not discern it any more.
17 And the kindness of Jehovah [Is] from age even unto age on those fearing Him, And His righteousness to sons' sons,
18 To those keeping His covenant, And to those remembering His precepts to do them.
19 Jehovah in the heavens Hath established His throne, And His kingdom over all hath ruled.
20 Bless Jehovah, ye His messengers, Mighty in power -- doing His word, To hearken to the voice of His Word.
21 Bless Jehovah, all ye His hosts, His ministers -- doing His pleasure.
22 Bless Jehovah, all ye His works, In all places of His dominion. Bless, O my soul, Jehovah!

Re: Bible verse by verse
Psalm 104:1-35
Praise the Lord to the depth of my being.
Gear Lord God, you are mighty ---- covered with splendor and majesty.
The Lord wraps himself in light as with a robe and extends the heavens like a tent
He lays the beams of his upper chambers on the waters. He makes clouds His chariot and moves on the wings of the wind.
He makes winds His messengers, flames of fire His servants.
He set the earth on its course; it will never be diverted.
You covered it with oceans as with a garment; the waters once stood above the highest hills.
But at your rebuke the waters retreated, at the sound of Your thunder they took to flight;
Flowing above the hills, they went down into the valleys, to the place You designated.
You set a boundary they cannot cross; never again will they cover the entire earth.
He makes springs pour water into ravines; it flows between the hills.
They give water for every beast of the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst.
The birds of the sky nest by the waters; they chirp among the brances.
He waters the hills from his upper chambers; the land is norished by the fruit of his work.
He makes grass grow for the cattle, plants for people to cultivate— providing food from the earth: wine that gladdens human hearts, oil to make their skin glow, and bread that sustains their hearts.
The trees of the Lord are well watered, the cedars of Lebanon that He planted.
There the birds build nests; the stork has its home among the firs.
The high hills belong to the wild goats; the crags are a refuge for the hyrax.
He designed the moon to mark the seasons, and the sun knows its spot.
You bring twilight, it becomes night, and all the beasts of the forest prowl.
The lions roar for their prey and seek their food from God.
The sun come up, and they hide away; they lie down in their dens.
Then people go out to their work --- laboring until evening.
How many are your works, Lord! Wisely You designed them all; the earth is full of your creatures.
There is the sea, vast and spacious, teems with innumerable creatures --both large and small.
There the ships go back and forth, and Leviathan, which you formed to frolic there.
All creatures look to you to provide food at the proper time.
When you provide for them, they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things.
When you hide your face, they are terrified; when you smother them, they die and return to the dirt.
When you send Your Spirit, they are created, and you renew the surface of the ground.
May the glory of the Lord last forever; may the Lord rejoice in his works—
He who looks at the earth, and it trembles, who touches hills, and they smoke.
I will sing to the Lord all my life ---- praising God as long as I live.
May my thoughts please Him, as I rejoice in the Lord. But may sinners vanish from the earth and act wickedly no more. Praise the Lord.
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 Bless, O my soul, Jehovah! Jehovah, my God, Thou hast been very great, Honour and majesty Thou hast put on.
2 Covering himself [with] light as a garment, Stretching out the heavens as a curtain,
3 Who is laying the beam of His upper chambers in the waters, Who is making thick clouds His chariot, Who is walking on wings of wind,
4 Making His messengers -- the winds, His ministers -- the flaming fire.
5 He hath founded earth on its bases, It is not moved to the age and for ever.
6 The abyss! as with clothing Thou hast covered it, Above hills do waters stand.
7 From Thy rebuke they flee, From the voice of Thy thunder haste away.
8 They go up hills -- they go down valleys, Unto a place Thou hast founded for them.
9 A border Thou hast set, they pass not over, They turn not back to cover the earth.
10 Who is sending forth fountains in valleys, Between hills they go on.
11 They water every beast of the field, Wild asses break their thirst.
12 By them the fowl of the heavens doth dwell, From between the branches They give forth the voice.
13 Watering hills from His upper chambers, From the fruit of Thy works is the earth satisfied.
14 Causing grass to spring up for cattle, And herb for the service of man, To bring forth bread from the earth,
15 And wine -- it rejoiceth the heart of man, To cause the face to shine from oil, And bread -- the heart of man it supporteth.
16 Satisfied [are] the trees of Jehovah, Cedars of Lebanon that He hath planted,
17 Where birds do make nests, The stork -- the firs [are] her house.
18 The high hills [are] for wild goats, Rocks [are] a refuge for conies,
19 He made the moon for seasons, The sun hath known his place of entrance.
20 Thou settest darkness, and it is night, In it doth every beast of the forest creep.
21 The young lions are roaring for prey, And to seek from God their food.
22 The sun riseth, they are gathered, And in their dens they crouch.
23 Man goeth forth to his work, And to his service -- till evening.
24 How many have been Thy works, O Jehovah, All of them in wisdom Thou hast made, Full is the earth of thy possessions.
25 This, the sea, great and broad of sides, There [are] moving things -- innumerable, Living creatures -- small with great.
26 There do ships go: leviathan, That Thou hast formed to play in it.
27 All of them unto Thee do look, To give their food in its season.
28 Thou dost give to them -- they gather, Thou dost open Thy hand -- they [are] satisfied [with] good.
29 Thou hidest Thy face -- they are troubled, Thou gatherest their spirit -- they expire, And unto their dust they turn back.
30 Thou sendest out Thy Spirit, they are created, And Thou renewest the face of the ground.
31 The honour of Jehovah is to the age, Jehovah rejoiceth in His works,
32 Who is looking to earth, and it trembleth, He cometh against hills, and they smoke.
33 I sing to Jehovah during my life, I sing praise to my God while I exist.
34 Sweet is my meditation on Him, I -- I do rejoice in Jehovah.
35 Consumed are sinners from the earth, And the wicked are no more. Bless, O my soul, Jehovah. Praise ye Jehovah!
Praise the Lord to the depth of my being.

Re: Bible verse by verse
Psalm 105:1-45 Praise the Lord and pray in His name! Tell everyone of His deeds.
Sing praises to the Lord and declare His miracles.
Celebrate and worship his holy name with all your heart.
Trust the Lord and his mighty power.
Remember his miracles, all his wonders, and his fair decisions.
You belong to the line of Abraham, His servant; His chosen ones --- descendants of Jacob.
The Lord is our God, establishing justice throughout earth.
He will never forget His agreement or promises, not even in thousands of years.
God made an eternal promise to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
Saying, “I’ll give you the land of Canaan.”
Back then there were only a few of us, and we had no homeland.
We wandered from one nation to another.
God did not let anyone mistreat our people but protected us by punishing rulers
Telling them, “Don’t assault my chosen leaders or bother my prophets!”
God causes a famine until food was scarce throughout the land.
But He had already sent Joseph, sold as a slave into Egypt, chained of iron about his legs and neck.
Joseph remained a slave until His prophecy had come true, and the Lord had finished testing him.
Then Pharaoh set Joseph free and placed him in command of everything he owned.
Joseph was in command of the officials and taught the leaders the application of wisdom.
Jacob and his family arrived and settled in Egypt as foreigners.
They were the Lord’s people, so He made them grow stronger than their enemies.
They served the Lord, and He made the Egyptians devise hateful things against them.
God sent his servant Moses. He also chose and sent Aaron to his people in Egypt, and they worked miracles and wonders there.
Moses and Aaron obeyed God, and He sent darkness to cover Egypt.
God turned their rivers into streams of blood, and the fish all died.
Frogs went everywhere, even throughout the royal palace.
When God gave the command, flies and gnats swarmed.
In place of rain, God sent hailstones and lightning.
He destroyed their grapevines, their fig trees, and splintered all other trees.
God commanded and more grasshoppers came than could be counted.
They ate every green plant and all crops that grew in Egypt.
Then God took the life of every first-born son.
When God led Israel from Egypt, they took silver and gold, and no one was left behind.
The Egyptians were afraid and gladly bid them go.
God shielded them under a cloud and guided them by fire at night.
When they asked for food, He sent more birds than they could devour.
God split open a rock, and streams of water gushed out in desert.
God never forgot his sacred promise to His servant Abraham.
When the Lord rescued his chosen people from Egypt, they celebrated in song.
The Lord gave them the land and everything else the nations had worked for.
He did this so that His people would obey all of His laws. Praises the Lord!
Young's Literal Translation (YLT)
1 Give ye thanks to Jehovah -- call ye in His name, Make known among the peoples His acts.
2 Sing ye to Him -- sing praise to Him, Meditate ye on all His wonders.
3 Boast yourselves in His Holy Name, The heart of those seeking Jehovah rejoiceth.
4 Seek ye Jehovah and His strength, Seek ye His face continually.
5 Remember His wonders that He did, His signs and the judgments of His mouth.
6 O seed of Abraham, His servant, O sons of Jacob, His chosen ones.
7 He [is] Jehovah our God, In all the earth [are] His judgments.
8 He hath remembered to the age His covenant, The word He commanded to a thousand generations,
9 That He hath made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac,
10 And doth establish it to Jacob for a statute, To Israel -- a covenant age-during,
11 Saying, `To thee I give the land of Canaan, The portion of your inheritance,'
12 In their being few in number, But a few, and sojourners in it.
13 And they go up and down, from nation unto nation, From a kingdom unto another people.
14 He hath not suffered any to oppress them And He reproveth for their sakes kings.
15 `Strike not against Mine anointed, And to My prophets do not evil.'
16 And He calleth a famine on the land, The whole staff of bread He hath broken.
17 He hath sent before them a man, For a servant hath Joseph been sold.
18 They have afflicted with fetters his feet, Iron hath entered his soul,
19 Till the time of the coming of His word The saying of Jehovah hath tried him.
20 The king hath sent, and looseth him, The ruler of the peoples, and draweth him out.
21 He hath made him lord of his house, And ruler over all his possessions.
22 To bind his chiefs at his pleasure, And his elders he maketh wise.
23 And Israel cometh in to Egypt, And Jacob hath sojourned in the land of Ham.
24 And He maketh His people very fruitful, And maketh it mightier than its adversaries.
25 He turned their heart to hate His people, To conspire against His servants.
26 He hath sent Moses His servant, Aaron whom He had fixed on.
27 They have set among them the matters of His signs, And wonders in the land of Ham.
28 He hath sent darkness, and it is dark, And they have not provoked His word.
29 He hath turned their waters to blood, And putteth to death their fish.
30 Teemed hath their land [with] frogs, In the inner chambers of their kings.
31 He hath said, and the beetle cometh, Lice into all their border.
32 He hath made their showers hail, A flaming fire [is] in their land.
33 And He smiteth their vine and their fig, And shivereth the trees of their border.
34 He hath said, and the locust cometh, And the cankerworm -- innumerable,
35 And it consumeth every herb in their land, And it consumeth the fruit of their ground.
36 And He smiteth every first-born in their land, The first-fruit of all their strength,
37 And bringeth them out with silver and gold, And there is not in its tribes a feeble one.
38 Rejoiced hath Egypt in their going forth, For their fear had fallen upon them.
39 He hath spread a cloud for a covering, And fire to enlighten the night.
40 They have asked, and He bringeth quails, And [with] bread of heaven satisfieth them.
41 He hath opened a rock, and waters issue, They have gone on in dry places -- a river.
42 For He hath remembered His holy word, With Abraham His servant,
43 And He bringeth forth His people with joy, With singing His chosen ones.
44 And He giveth to them the lands of nations, And the labour of peoples they possess,
45 That they may observe His statutes, And His laws may keep. Praise ye Jehovah!
