It would be better if half the species didn't marginalize the other half of the species. Instead, treating us like equals would probably result in the male half being able to shift the blame for the pitiful stage of religion, politics, and the economy at least half the time. Right now, males are to blame for everything from poverty to war. And the older the male, the more they are to blame.

Harmony, I don't believe 'the older the male the more they are to blame'.
As many of us age we realize there is so much we have done through the years that was not right, not positive and not helpful. My generation had Viet Nam and many of us(active military) still wonder why we were there. Why our friends names are on a damn wall in Washington and no politicians were hung or castrated for the whole thing.
This will be the same for those involved in Iraq in 20-30 years.
I did protest our involvement in Iraq as well as Afghanistan, including the ever increasing buildups.
Yes, we have screwed things up just as every generation before us. Young and strong and willing to take orders - it is no wonder Armies are made up of young men and older men who order us into battle. Sometimes it is needed but much of the time it is a power play.
l-dsinc is similar. Fill young people with tales of greatness and watch them lap it up and go on missions. Then watch them come home and see who lasts.
I don't know if women would do better. I have watched some I know hold grudges that make Hatfields and McCoys look tame. With religion I doubt it would be any different.
As far as Adam being Michael, it is baloney so it doesn't really matter other than to show Joe was lying and 'truth' is not truth if it doesn't support the lie of the day.

Hello, I've read the first few pages of this discussion but simply don't have time to go through 44 pages. Can anyone lead me in the right direction (or link) where i can read on these printing mistakes and apologies. I've searched the LDS.org website over and over and can find nothing. I've asked several of the elders and members of our branch a well and most don't seem to have an answer in regards to the name Micheal being removed from D&C 137:5. I personally feel its a huge thing to consider if things of this nature are being removed and the scripture being re written to *prove* what was recorded is not contradictory.
