Ezekiel 25:1-17
The word of Lord came to Ezekiel:
“Human, view the people of Ammon and prophesy against them;
Tell them, to listen to the word of the God Head who says, “Because you gloated when my sanctuary was profaned, when Israel was laid waste, and when Judah went into exile;
I will allow the people from the east take possession of you. They will set up camps and build their homes among you; they will eat your fruit and drink your milk.
I will turn Rabbah into a camel pasture and Ammon into a sheep stock yard. Then you will know that I am God.
For here is what the god head says: “Because you clapped your hands and stamped your feet, full of vicious joy regarding Israel;
I am going to reach over you and deliver you as plunder to the nations; I will cut you off you nation and cause you to cease. I will destroy you. Then you will know that I am God.
The God Head says: Because Moab and Seir say, "The house of Judah is the same as any other nation,
I will expose the broadside of Moab, with all its cities — meaning, all the cities of its frontier, the glory of the land, Beth-Jeshimoth, Baal-Meon, and Kiriathaim,
including the people of Ammon, to the people from the east, whom I will allow to take possession of them. Thus the people of Ammon will not be remembered as ever existing as a nation; and I will execute judgments on Moab. Then they will know that I am God.
“The God Head says: ‘Because Edom has taken severe action against the house of Judah, incurring much guilt through its acts of vengeance against them, as a result, the God Head says, I will stretch my hand out over Edom and eliminate both its people and animals. I will make it a ruin; from Teman through to Dedan they will die by the sword.
Additionally, I will enact vengeance on Edom through my people Israel; they will treat Edom in accordance with my anger and fury; and they will realize my vengeance’ says the God Head.
The God Head says, ‘Because the Philistines have acted out of vengeance --- destroying with malice of heart, due to their long-standing feud;
therefore, the God Head says, I will stretch out my hand over the Philistines, eliminate the Cherethim and destroy the rest of the seacoast peoples.
I will execute great retaliation on them with horrific punishments; and they will know that I am God when I lay my vengeance on them.”

1 And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying,
2 `Son of man, set thy face unto the sons of Ammon, and prophesy against them;
3 and thou hast said to the sons of Ammon: Hear ye a word of the Lord Jehovah: Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because of thy saying, Aha, to My sanctuary, Because it hath been polluted, And unto the ground of Israel, Because it hath been desolate, And unto the house of Judah, Because they have gone into a removal:
4 Therefore, lo, I am giving thee to sons of the east for a possession, And they set their towers in thee, And have placed in thee their tabernacles. They eat thy fruit, and they drink thy milk,
5 And I have given Rabbah for a habitation of camels, And the sons of Ammon for the crouching of a flock, And ye have known that I [am] Jehovah.

7 Therefore, lo, I -- I have stretched out My hand against thee, And have given thee for a portion to nations, And I have cut thee off from the peoples, And caused thee to perish from the lands; I destroy thee, and thou hast known that I [am] Jehovah.
8 Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because of the saying of Moab and Seir: Lo, as all the nations [is] the house of Judah;
9 Therefore, lo, I am opening the shoulder of Moab -- From the cities -- from his cities -- from his frontier, The beauty of the land, Beth-Jeshimoth, Baal-Meon, and Kiriathaim,
10 To the sons of the east, with the sons of Ammon, And I have given it for a possession, So that the sons of Ammon are not remembered among nations.
11 And in Moab I do judgments, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah.
12 Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because of the doings of Edom, In taking vengeance on the house of Judah, Yea, they are very guilty, And they have taken vengeance on them.
13 Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: I have stretched out My hand against Edom, And I have cut off from it man and beast, And given it up -- a waste, from Teman even to Dedan, By sword they do fall.
14 And I have given My vengeance on Edom, By the hand of My people Israel, And they have done in Edom, According to My anger, and according to My fury, And they have known My vengeance, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
15 Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because of the doings of the Philistines in vengeance, And they take vengeance with despite in soul, To destroy -- the enmity age-during!
16 Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I am stretching out My hand against the Philistines, And I have cut off the Cherethim, And destroyed the remnant of the haven of the sea,
17 And done upon them great vengeance with furious reproofs, And they have known that I [am] Jehovah, In My giving out My vengeance on them!

‘Ha, ha! She is shattered, the gateway of the peoples. Now that she is ruined, her riches will be mine’;
The God Head says,
"Look here, Tyre! I am against you. Just as the sea churns up waves, I will drive many nations against you.
They will destroy Tyre's walls and demolish her towers. I will scrape off her soil and reduce her to bare rock.
With the sea surrounding her, she will be a place for drying fish nets and plunder for the nations. I have spoken," says the God Head.
"Her daughters on the mainland will be put to death with the sword; then they'll realize that I am God."
Here is what Adonai Elohim says: "I will bring upon Tyre, from the north, Babylon's monarch Nebuchadrezzar, king of kings, with horses, chariots, cavalry, and a great powerful army.
“Your daughters on the mainland he will kill with the sword. He will build siege-towers, a ramp and raise a screen of shields against you.
He will pound your walls with his battering-rams and break down your towers with weapons.
His horses are so many that their dust will cover you. The thunder of cavalry, wagons and chariots will raddle your walls, as he enters your gates, like men storming a city through a gaping hole.
With the hoofs of his horses he will trample through your streets. He will put your people to the sword and pull to the ground your massive stonework.
They will seize your wealth, loot your wares, demolish your walls, destroy your fine houses; then they will toss your stones and timber and even your dust into the sea.
I will put an end to your singing, the sound of your lyres will be heard no more.
I will reduce you to bare rock, you will be a place for drying fish nets, you will never be restored, for I, God, have spoken, says the God Head.”
To Tyre the God Head says:
“How the coastlands will shake at the sound of your fall, when the wounded groan, when the slaughter takes place in you!
Then all the princes of the sea will step down from their thrones; they will put aside their robes and strip off their embroidered garments. They will clothe themselves with trembling; they will sit on the ground, trembling continuously, sickened at your condition.
Then they will raise a cry for you: “‘How you have been destroyed, you who were peopled from the seas, city so renowned, once so strong at sea, you and your inhabitants, who once spread terror
over the mainland!
Now the coastlands tremble on the day of your downfall, and the islands in the sea are in shock at your end.’
Here is what The God Head says: "When I make you a ruined city, like other uninhabited cities; when I bring the deep sea over you, and its mighty waters cover you;
then I will bring you down with those who went to hell, people of long ago, and make you live in the underworld like those who were ruined long ago, with those who went to hell, so that you will be uninhabited when I bring glory to the land of the living.
I will make you horrible; you will cease to exist. People will seek your nation but not find you until the end of the world," says the God Head.

9 And a battering-ram before him he placeth against thy walls, And thy towers he breaketh by his weapons.
10 From the abundance of his horses cover thee doth their dust, From the noise of horseman, and wheel, and rider, Shake do thy walls, in his coming in to thy gates, As the coming into a city broken-up.
11 With hoofs of his horses he treadeth all thine out-places, Thy people by sword he doth slay, And the pillars of thy strength to the earth come down.
12 And they have spoiled thy wealth, And they have plundered thy merchandise, And they have thrown down thy walls, And thy desirable houses they break down, And thy stones, and thy wood, and thy dust, In the midst of the waters they place.
13 And I have caused the noise of thy songs to cease, And the voice of thy harps is heard no more.
14 And I have given thee up for a clear place of a rock, A spreading-place of nets thou art, Thou art not built up any more, For I, Jehovah, I have spoken, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah.
15 Thus said the Lord Jehovah to Tyre: Do not -- from the noise of thy fall, In the groaning of the wounded, In the slaying of the slaughter in thy midst, The isles shake?
16 And come down from off their thrones have all princes of the sea, And they have turned aside their robes, And their embroidered garments strip off, Trembling they put on, on the earth they sit, And they have trembled every moment, And they have been astonished at thee,
17 And have lifted up for thee a lamentation, And said to thee: How hast thou perished, That art inhabited from the seas, The praised city, that was strong in the sea, She and her inhabitants, Who put their terror on all her inhabitants!
18 Now they tremble, is it not the day of thy fall? Troubled have been the isles that [are] in the sea, at thine outgoing.
19 For thus said the Lord Jehovah: In my making thee a city wasted, Like cities that have not been inhabited, In bringing up against thee the deep, Then covered thee have the great waters.
20 And I have caused thee to go down, With those going down to the pit, Unto the people of old, And I have caused thee to dwell in the land, The lower parts -- in wastes of old, With those going down to the pit, So that thou art not inhabited, And I have given beauty in the land of the living.
21 Wastes I do make thee, and thou art not, And thou art sought, and art not found any more -- to the age, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah!'

The word of the Lord came] to Ezekiel, saying:
“Human, sing a funeral lament for the city of Tyre.
Tell Tyre, seated as the gateway to the Sea -- a place of trade for the people of many coastlands. This is what the Lord God says:
Tyre, you have boasted, “I am like a perfectly beautiful ship.”
You were at home on the high seas. Your builders developed your beauty.
They fashioned all your planks of fir trees from Mount Hermon. They took a cedar tree from Lebanon to make a ship’s mast for you.
They made your oars from oak trees from Bashan. They constructed your deck from cypress trees from the coast of Cyprus and inlaid it with ivory.
Your sail of embroidered linen came from Egypt and served as your banner. Your deck awnings were blue and purple and came from the coasts Cyprus.
Leaders from Sidon and Arvad used oars to row you. Tyre, your skilled men were pilots on your deck.
Experienced craftsmen of Byblos assisted you, putting caulk in your ship’s seams. All the ships of the sea and their sailors came alongside to trade with you.
Men of Persia, Lydia and Put (Libya), were warriors in your navy and hung their shields and helmets on your sides. They increased your regalia.
Men of Arvad and Cilicia guarded your city walls fully. Men of Gammad were in your watchtowers. and hung their shields around your walls. They made you look spended.
People of Tarshish became traders for you because of your great wealth. They ·exchanged your commodities for silver, iron, tin, and lead.
People of Greece, Tubal, and Meshech became merchants for you. They traded your goods for slaves and items of bronze.
People of Beth Togarmah (Armenia) traded your goods for work horses, cavalry horses, and mules.
People of Rhodes became merchants for you, selling your goods on many coastlands. They brought back ivory tusks and valuable ebony wood as your payment.
People of Aram (Syria) did business with you, because you had so many goodies to sell. They traded your goods for turquoise, purple cloth, embroidery, fine linen, coral, and rubies.
People of Judah and Israel became merchants for you. They traded your goods for wheat from Minnith, and for meal, honey, olive oil, and balm.
People of Damascus (capital of Aram/Syria) became traders for you because you have many goodies and fabulous wealth. They traded your goods for wine from Helbon, wool from Zahar, and barrels of wine from Izal ( possibly Yemen). They received wrought iron, cassia, and sugar cane in payment for your merchandise.
People of Dedan (southern Edom) became merchants for you, trading saddle blankets for riding.
People of Arabia and all the rulers of Kedar became traders for you. They received lambs, rams, and goats in payment for you.
The merchants of Sheba (southwestern Arabian peninsula, Yemen) and Raamah (city in southern Arabia) became merchants for you. They traded your goods for all the best spices, valuable gems, and gold.
People of Haran (city in present-day eastern Turkey), Canneh, Eden (Mesopotamia near Haran), and the traders of Sheba, Asshur (city south of Nineveh), and Kilmad became merchants for you.
They were paid with the best clothes, blue cloth, embroidery work, carpets of many colors, and tightly wound ropes.
Trading ships of Tarshish transported your merchandise. You were like a ship full of heavy cargo in the middle of the sea.
The men who rowed you brought you out into the high seas, but an east wind dashed you to pieces in the heart of the sea.
Your wealth, trade [products], goods, seamen, your captains, caulkers, traders, soldiers, and everyone else on board sank into the heart of the sea on the day your ship was wrecked.
The people on the shore shake with fear when your sailors cry out.
All the men who disembark from their ships; the seamen and captains of other ships stand along the shore.
They cry loudly about you; they weep bitterly. They throw dust on their heads and roll in ashes.
They shave their heads for you, and they dress in burlap. They cry and sob for you; they cry loudly.
And in their wailing they sing a funeral lament for you: “No one was ever destroyed like Tyre, surrounded like a tower in the middle of; or now silent in the midst of the sea.”
When the goods you traded went out over the seas, you satisfied many nations. With your great wealth and merchandise, you made kings of the earth rich.
But now you are shipwrecked; shattered by the sea and have submerged. Your merchandise and all the people on board have gone down with you.
All those who live along the coastland are shocked aghast at what happened to you. Their kings are horrified, and their faces show their troubled fear.
The traders among the nations hiss at you. You have reached a terrible climax, and you are gone forever.”

5 Of firs of Senir they have built to thee all thy double-boarded ships, Of cedars of Lebanon they have taken to make a mast for thee,
6 Of oaks of Bashan they made thine oars, Thy bench they have made of ivory, A branch of Ashurim from isles of Chittim.

8 Inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad have been rowers to thee, Thy wise men, O Tyre, have been in thee, They [are] thy pilots.
9 Elders of Gebal and its wise men have been in thee, Strengthening thy breach; All ships of the sea and their mariners, Have been in thee, to trade [with] thy merchandise.
10 Persian and Lud and Phut Have been in thy forces -- thy men of war. Shield and helmet they hung up in thee, They -- they have given out thine honour.
11 The sons of Arvad, and thy force, [Are] on thy walls round about, And short swordsmen in thy towers have been, Their shields they have hung up on thy walls round about, They -- they have perfected thy beauty.
12 Tarshish [is] thy merchant, Because of the abundance of all wealth, For silver, iron, tin, and lead, They have given out thy remnants.
13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech -- they [are] thy merchants, For persons of men, and vessels of brass, They have given out thy merchandise.
14 They of the house of Togarmah, [For] horses, and riding steeds, and mules, They have given out thy remnants.
15 Sons of Dedan [are] thy merchants, Many isles [are] the mart of thy hand, Horns of ivory and ebony they sent back thy reward.
16 Aram [is] thy merchant, Because of the abundance of thy works, For emerald, purple, and embroidery, And fine linen, and coral, and agate, They have given out thy remnants.
17 Judah and the land of Israel -- they [are] thy merchants, For wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, And honey, and oil, and balm, They have given out thy merchandise.
18 Damascus [is] thy merchant, For the abundance of thy works, Because of the abundance of all wealth, For wine of Helbon, and white wool.
19 Vedan and Javan go about with thy remnants, They have given shining iron, cassia, and cane, In thy merchandise it hath been.
20 Dedan [is] thy merchant, For clothes of freedom for riding.
21 Arabia, and all princes of Kedar, They [are] the traders of thy hand, For lambs, and rams, and he-goats, In these thy merchants.
22 Merchants of Sheba and Raamah -- they [are] thy merchants, For the chief of all spices, And for every precious stone, and gold, They have given out thy remnants.
23 Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, merchants of Sheba, Asshur -- Chilmad -- [are] thy merchants,
24 They [are] thy merchants for perfect things, For wrappings of blue, and embroidery, And for treasuries of rich apparel, With cords bound and girded, for thy merchandise,
25 Ships of Tarshish [are] thy double walls of thy merchandise, And thou art filled and honoured greatly, In the heart of the seas.
26 Into great waters have they brought thee, Those rowing thee, The east wind hath broken thee in the heart of the seas.
27 Thy wealth and thy remnants, Thy merchandise, thy mariners, And thy pilots, strengtheners of thy breach, And the traders of thy merchandise, And all thy men of war, who [are] in thee, And in all thine assembly that [is] in thy midst, Fall into the heart of the seas in the day of thy fall,
28 At the voice of the cry of thy pilots shake do the suburbs.
29 And come down from their ships have all handling an oar, Mariners, all the pilots of the sea, on the land they stand,
30 And have sounded for thee with their voice, And cry bitterly, and cause dust to go up on their heads, In ashes they do roll themselves.
31 And they have made for thee baldness, And they have girded on sackcloth, And they have wept for thee, In bitterness of soul -- a bitter mourning.
32 And lifted up for thee have their sons a lamentation, And they have lamented over thee, who [is] as Tyre? As the cut-off one in the midst of the sea?
33 With the outgoing of thy remnants from the seas, Thou hast filled many peoples, With the abundance of thy riches, and thy merchandise, Thou hast made rich things of earth.
34 The time of [thy] being broken by the seas in the depths of the waters, Thy merchandise and all thy assembly in thy midst have fallen.
35 All inhabitants of the isles have been astonished at thee, And their kings have been sore afraid, They have been troubled in countenance.
36 Merchants among the peoples have shrieked for thee, Wastes thou hast been, and thou art not -- to the age!'
The word of the Lord came] to Ezekiel, saying:
“Human, sing a funeral lament for the city of Tyre.
Tell Tyre, seated as the gateway to the Sea -- a place of trade for the people of many coastlands. This is what the Lord God says:
Tyre, you have boasted, “I am like a perfectly beautiful ship.”
You were at home on the high seas. Your builders developed your beauty.
They fashioned all your planks of fir trees from Mount Hermon. They took a cedar tree from Lebanon to make a ship’s mast for you.
They made your oars from oak trees from Bashan. They constructed your deck from cypress trees from the coast of Cyprus and inlaid it with ivory.
Your sail of embroidered linen came from Egypt and served as your banner. Your deck awnings were blue and purple and came from the coasts Cyprus.
Leaders from Sidon and Arvad used oars to row you. Tyre, your skilled men were pilots on your deck.
Experienced craftsmen of Byblos assisted you, putting caulk in your ship’s seams. All the ships of the sea and their sailors came alongside to trade with you.
Men of Persia, Lydia and Put (Libya), were warriors in your navy and hung their shields and helmets on your sides. They increased your regalia.
Men of Arvad and Cilicia guarded your city walls fully. Men of Gammad were in your watchtowers. and hung their shields around your walls. They made you look spended.
People of Tarshish became traders for you because of your great wealth. They ·exchanged your commodities for silver, iron, tin, and lead.
People of Greece, Tubal, and Meshech became merchants for you. They traded your goods for slaves and items of bronze.
People of Beth Togarmah (Armenia) traded your goods for work horses, cavalry horses, and mules.
People of Rhodes became merchants for you, selling your goods on many coastlands. They brought back ivory tusks and valuable ebony wood as your payment.
People of Aram (Syria) did business with you, because you had so many goodies to sell. They traded your goods for turquoise, purple cloth, embroidery, fine linen, coral, and rubies.
People of Judah and Israel became merchants for you. They traded your goods for wheat from Minnith, and for meal, honey, olive oil, and balm.
People of Damascus (capital of Aram/Syria) became traders for you because you have many goodies and fabulous wealth. They traded your goods for wine from Helbon, wool from Zahar, and barrels of wine from Izal ( possibly Yemen). They received wrought iron, cassia, and sugar cane in payment for your merchandise.
People of Dedan (southern Edom) became merchants for you, trading saddle blankets for riding.
People of Arabia and all the rulers of Kedar became traders for you. They received lambs, rams, and goats in payment for you.
The merchants of Sheba (southwestern Arabian peninsula, Yemen) and Raamah (city in southern Arabia) became merchants for you. They traded your goods for all the best spices, valuable gems, and gold.
People of Haran (city in present-day eastern Turkey), Canneh, Eden (Mesopotamia near Haran), and the traders of Sheba, Asshur (city south of Nineveh), and Kilmad became merchants for you.
They were paid with the best clothes, blue cloth, embroidery work, carpets of many colors, and tightly wound ropes.
Trading ships of Tarshish transported your merchandise. You were like a ship full of heavy cargo in the middle of the sea.
The men who rowed you brought you out into the high seas, but an east wind dashed you to pieces in the heart of the sea.
Your wealth, trade [products], goods, seamen, your captains, caulkers, traders, soldiers, and everyone else on board sank into the heart of the sea on the day your ship was wrecked.
The people on the shore shake with fear when your sailors cry out.
All the men who disembark from their ships; the seamen and captains of other ships stand along the shore.
They cry loudly about you; they weep bitterly. They throw dust on their heads and roll in ashes.
They shave their heads for you, and they dress in burlap. They cry and sob for you; they cry loudly.
And in their wailing they sing a funeral lament for you: “No one was ever destroyed like Tyre, surrounded like a tower in the middle of; or now silent in the midst of the sea.”
When the goods you traded went out over the seas, you satisfied many nations. With your great wealth and merchandise, you made kings of the earth rich.
But now you are shipwrecked; shattered by the sea and have submerged. Your merchandise and all the people on board have gone down with you.
All those who live along the coastland are shocked aghast at what happened to you. Their kings are horrified, and their faces show their troubled fear.
The traders among the nations hiss at you. You have reached a terrible climax, and you are gone forever.”

You ·think you are wiser than Daniel. You think no secret is hidden from you.
Through your wisdom and understanding you have made yourself rich. You have gained gold and silver and have stashed it in your treasuries.
Through your great trading skill, you have increased your riches. You are too lofty due to your riches.
So this is what the Lord God says: You think you are wise like a god,
Therefore, I will bring foreigners against you, the cruelest nations. They will draw their swords and destroy all that your wisdom has built [L against your beauty and wisdom], and they will defile your splendor.
They will bring you down to the pit]; you will die a violent death like those who are killed at sea.
While they are killing you, you will not be able to say anymore, “I am a god.” You are but human, not a god, when your murderers kill you.

You were an example of what was perfect, full of wisdom and perfect in beauty.
You had a wonderful life, in Eden, the garden of God. Every valuable gem bedecked you: ruby [or carnelian], topaz [or chysolite], and emerald [or diamond], yellow quartz [or chrysolite], onyx, and jasper, sapphire [or lapis lazuli], turquoise, and ·chrysolite [or beryl; or emerald]. Your ·jewelry [settings and mounts] was made of gold. It was prepared on the day you were created.
I appointed a living cherub to guard you. I placed you on the holy mountain of God. You walked among the gems that glittered like fiery stones.
Your existence was right and good from the day you were created, until wickedness was found in you.
Because you traded with many far away countries, you learned to be cruel, and you sinned. So I banished you in disgrace from the mountain of God. And the living cherub who guarded you
expelled you from among the gems that shined like fire.
You became boastful because of your beauty. You corrupted your wisdom because of your splendor. I threw you down to the earth. Your example taught a lesson to other kings.
You profaned your places of worship through your many sins and dishonest trade. So I set on fire the place where you lived, and the fire consumed you. I turned you into ashes on the ground for all those watching to observe.
All the nations who knew you are shocked concerning you. Your punishment was so terrible, and you are gone forever.”

“Human, look toward the city of Sidon and prophesy against her. Say: This is what the Lord God says: I am against you, Sidon, and I will manifest My presence among you. People will know that I Am the Lord when I have execute judgments against Sidon; I will show my holiness by defeating her.
I will send plague/pestilence] to Sidon, and blood will flow in her streets. Those who are wounded in Sidon will fall dead in her midst, attacked from all sides. Then they will know that I am the Lord.
No more will neighboring nations be like thorny branches or sharp thorns to hurt Israel. Then they will know that I am the Lord God.
This is what the Lord God says: I will gather the people of Israel from the nations where they are scattered. I will show My holiness when the nations see what I do for my people. Then they will live in their own land—the land I handed to my servant Jacob.
They will live safely in the land and will build houses and plant vineyards. They will live in safety after I have executed judgments against ALL nations around who treat them with contempt; scorn them. Then they will know that I am the Lord their God.”

On the 12th of the 10th month of the 10th year, God's word came to Ezekiel:
“Human, turn towards Pharaoh monarch of Egypt; prophesy against him and all Egypt;
speak --- that the Godhead says:
‘I am against you, Pharaoh of Egypt, you ornery crocodile hiding in the streams of the Nile! You say, “My Nile; I created it for myself.”
But I will put hooks in your jaws and make your Nile fish stick to your scales. Yes, I will drag you up from your Nile, with all your Nile fish stuck to your scales,
and dump you in the desert, you and all your Nile fish. You will die in the open field and not be gathered or buried; but I will give you as food to wild animals and birds.
Then all who survive in Egypt will know that I am God, because they have been as supportive of straw for Israel.
When Israel reached you in hand, you splintered and threw all their shoulders out of joint; when they leaned on you, you broke and made them all wrench their backs.’

No human will walk through it, and no animal foot will travel through it; it will remain uninhabited for 40 years.

Ezekiel and Daniel are interesting because there is things that are happening then, are about to happen historically, and things which will occur in the future. Some of this is tied together.

Ezekiel 30:1-26 Adonai Elohim is the Hebrew which I have applied Godhead to. Adonai Elohim often translated "Lord Jehovah." Adonai Elohim indicated a plurality. Traditionally, Jews indicate that this plurality represents greatness and supreme reverence. I believe that this is certainly true in part. However, I also feel that this is eluding to the Messiah and the Holy Spirit (the TRIUNITY of GOD). They are united in purpose, direction, and power. This is of course entirely different than a Mormon notion of many gods.
The word of the Lord came to me:
“Human, prophesy; say, ‘Wail, “Oh no! Now is the moment!”
For the time is near, the Day of the Lord, a day of clouds, the time of the gentiles.
The sword will come against Egypt, and Ethiopia will suffer, when the dead fall in Egypt, when they remove her wealth, and her foundations are torn down.
Ethiopia, Put and Lud, all the mixed population and Chub, and the people of allied lands will die by the sword also.
