You may refer to any Biblical Chronology, or you may refer to the Chronological Tables in the Bible dictionary section of the LDS scriptures. However, it is not as large and detailed as some other Biblical chronological works.

gdemetz wrote:"Didn't match any of the prophesies." Have you ever read the Bible?! There are hundreds of Old Testament prophesies that He fulfilled!

The most famous examples tend to not be, in fact, messianic prophesies, but other passages describing the trials of Israel. The messiah was never supposed to die for anyone's sins. He was supposed to deliver Israel from its enemies.

How do I know that? I know that because I have studied Biblical history and Chronology for many years, and I know that the prophets who made these prophecies lived well before Christ.

You can't insist that the Bible is a spiritual guidance text and not a history text and then use it to define chronology. Bible chronology just doesn't match up to any known chronologies, Egyptian in particular.

Read up all you want on Bible chronology and then come back here with a specific date for Noah's flood.....and then stick to it. According to the Masoretic chronology Abraham was born 299 years after Noah's flood, so, anywhere within a 300 year time period that you feel secure about. Effectively that will give a 600 year time gap to play around with (± 300 years). But, as I stated, once you pick a date you can't come back later and fudge your bet.

I've already given an Egyptian chronology but I can provide many more with books, scholar names, dates and archaeological finds and evidence to back it up.

Go ahead, give it your best shot.
And in the end, the love you take, is equal to the love...you make. PMcC

Your support for this thread is to reference a wiki page that shows Isaiah wasn't written by one person and also shows that the Isaiah passages in the Book of Mormon could only have been put in by Joseph Smith? Really?
