Re: Is God a Mormon?
Little Nipper, you do not believe in God.
You believe in some anonymous authors idea about God.

That said, with the Book of Mormon, we are not dealing with a civilization with no written record. What we are dealing with is a written record with no civilization. (Runtu, Feb 2015)

So what is the scoop of this?
by the way, as Mormons, would the current Church President preside if they were all in a meeting?
That's interesting. He absolutely couldn't be a "Mormon" since that's endemic to our New World.

In the face of madness, rationality has no power - Xiao Wang, US historiographer, 2287 AD.
Every record...falsified, every book rewritten...every statue...has been renamed or torn down, every date...altered...the process is continuing...minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Ideology is always right.

I don't recall that Adam or his offspring were baptised.
So that would make them all non members, no?

I believe God wrote the Bible through man in various ways. See http://www.allabouttruth.org/who-wrote-the-bible.htm

Jesus says, "I AM the Resurrection and the Life! Whoever puts his trust in me will live, even if he dies."
Satan says, "I will give you all these things if you throw yourself to the ground and worship me."
If satan did infact say that ... how is that any different than what Jesus said?
What makes you think a life of close mindedness is going to lead to eternal freedom? Who has the better grasp of reality ? He who learns from experience , or he who reads it in a book.
You yourself have said that saving your soul is not dependent on actions we do , but merely believing Jesus is the only way.
As if there is a single pill you can swallow to lose weight and be healthy , instead of diet and exercise will lead to the most healthy life.
Many people make these claims here on earth for this and that , and people always fall for it , because they want the most gain for the least amount of effort.
Christianity is the ultimate ponzi scheme , is it not?
Satan wants power. Jesus is the power. Satan points his finger and accuses ---- Jesus offers redeeming salvation. Are you open minded? Do you believe in creation? Do you believe there was a worldwide flood? Do you believe that dinosaurs could have roamed the earth along with man? Weight and health hardly have anything to do with salvation --- weight and health change and we die. Salvation is forever. What makes you think that God expects Christians to do nothing. Yes, he gives salvation but then He asks Christians to live for Him and be witnesses for Him. Do you imagine that a Christian who does nothing will be joyous in this life? Think about it.

Thanks for confirming that your belief in God is actually a belief in men.

The possiblity that 66 books might be written over thousands of years by the hand of many individuals from various backgrounds in full agreement without the guidance of God is entirely impossible. In fact, the realities surrounding the existence of the Bible, totally underminds the Book of Mormon, in that only one man was involved in that presentation. There is no demonstration of like a collective mindedness. The Book of Mormon comes into being entirely through the hand of Mr. Smith.
