I'm a real Mormon and here is my response: This topic is boring.

I would suggest that a God centered Christian would not find anything boring concerning either the truth of scripture or the spreading of the Gospel message.

The short answer is simply that Jesus did not, in any sense circumvent his mortal experience.

Droopy, we learn from the Book of Abraham that "the Gods" created the earth.
1 And then the Lord said: Let us go down. And they went down at the beginning, and they, that is the Gods, organized and formed the heavens and the earth.

We learn from the Temple Endowment that the Gods referred to in the Book of Abraham were, in actual fact, Christ and Michael.
This means that Christ AND Michael (who became Adam) were God's before they partook of mortality.

Christ created the entire Universe and Adam & Eve. Christ is eternal as is the Holy Spirit and the Father. Adam had a beginning. Michael is an angel. God is above angels. Man is a little lower than angels

And self appointed evangelists are just a little lower than that.

Do Latter-day Saints believe they can become “gods”?
Latter-day Saints believe that God wants us to become like Him. But this teaching is often misrepresented by those who caricature the faith. The Latter-day Saint belief is no different than the biblical teaching, which states, “The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together” (Romans 8:16-17). Through following Christ's teachings, Latter-day Saints believe all people can become "partakers of the divine nature" (2 Peter 1:4).

The Gospel Principles manual gives a different position.

"5.They will have everything that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have—all power, glory, dominion, and knowledge"

You and my wife might have a good chat about whether I'm "all there" or not.

I have no problem with your views. I just find it a little abrasive that you state them as a proclamation of truth rather than what they really are, just your opinion about matters that you have no better way of knowing then the rest of us.

If you had started with "I thinK" or "it's my belief" it would be easier to accept.

If you are looking for answers, you might be on the right path. If you think you already have the answers, you're deluded.

Some more I like:
“I have never made but one prayer to God, a very short one: Oh Lord, make my enemies ridiculous. And God granted it."

“Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.”

“God is a circle whose center is everywhere and circumference nowhere.”

“God is a comedian playing to an audience that is too afraid to laugh.”

“Of all religions, the Christian should've course inspire the most tolerance, but until now Christians have been the most intolerant of all men.”

There are dozens of dozens (gross).

Last but not least:
“No opinion is worth burning your neighbor for.”

Sorry, I should have prefaced my quote by saying "This is the current PR official position of the Church which may, or may not, reflect the current doctrinal official position of the Church."
That said, with the Book of Mormon, we are not dealing with a civilization with no written record. What we are dealing with is a written record with no civilization. (Runtu, Feb 2015)

That sounds about right.
