Do you think they could have a special table with Mormon Discussion Board flags on it during lunch?

What do you mean it would have to be on the loading docks?

Those would be the loading docks in New York City?

And they didn't invite me to speak on my freestyle prose poem "The Battle of the Titans: Scratch vs DCP (in the Steel Cage)"...an allegory for how modern man can get back to his primalistic roots?

For Shame FAIR Conference...for shame.

I think what will actually be the deciding factor in my not going is seeing Terryl Givens in person.

Ok..there are many reasons. But I don't think I could look at the Lord of the Dance without guffawing out loud...

Blixa, could you refresh our memory on his relationship with dancing. I imagine "The Battle of the Titans: Scratch vs DCP (in the Steel Cage)" would be well received at the loading dock luncheon.

I think she's referring to the PBS documentary in which Givens made the bizarre assertion that Mormons incorporate dancing as part of their religious devotion, that Mormons raise their kids to dance, that there's a dance studio on every street corner that the Mormons all attend, etc.

Shades is right. Given's nutty dance rant was by far the strangest thing I've yet heard asserted by/about Mormonism. And that's saying a whole lot.

I'm wondering if Givens has a theory of where Mormonism fits into this:

(On a side note, I actually enjoy Givens, and dug the books of his that I've read. In fact, I'd be so bold as to say I have a man-crush on Givens... so there... neener-neener).

Anyone know if clothing is optional at the conference?
