Since the brass plates of Laban were in existence prior to 600 B.C.,
the Book of Mormon Isaiah is the most ancient scriptural record of
Isaiah's writings in existence. It is taken in this work as the
standard from which the biblical accounts are evaluated.

It's refreshing to see FAIR defending actual church doctrine for a change.

In this work the author makes a meticulous word-by-word comparison
of the 404 verses in the 20 Isaiah chapters, identifying each
instance where the wording is not identical. The comparison clearly
demonstrates that the Book of Mormon Isaiah is, as it claims to be,
a copy of an ancient manuscript which predates all the other
manuscript versions of Isaiah. This comparison provides convincing
evidence that the Book of Mormon is a true historical document and
that the Prophet Joseph Smith was inspired in its translation.

This is fantastic news, since the Isaiah chapters have constituted a giant stumbling block for many Latter-Day Saints.

The differences between the Book of Mormon and King James versions
are compared with English translations of the Greek Septuagint, the
Latin Vulgate and the Hebrew Masoretic texts.

In which of these texts might 2 Nephi 27:6-24 be found?

The author has found
that 115 of the 348 differences between the Book of Mormon and Bible
texts actually alter the meaning of the passages. These differences,
far from being random variations resulting from inadvertent scribal
errors, clearly indicate that the King James and other Bible
versions contain intentional deviations from the original meaning -
deviations designed to justify Israel in its apostate beliefs and
practices.

So who intentionally deleted JST-Isaiah 29:11-26 from the King James and other Bible versions?

I've asked this question many times of many different apologists and have yet to receive a single response.

It would seem that the only apostate words are actually coming from FAIR...

Isn't that what apologists are supposed to do? Answer questions about the scriptures and church doctrine?
Or is their job simply to call anyone asking an uncorrelated question an "antiMormon"?

I don't know of any Mormon on this forum (nor non-mormon) who are Isiah and Isiah Book of Mormon experts to have a "ready answer" to your question.

Sorry that we don't become experts just to answer this particular question of someone who will just pass our answers off as worthless anyway, on some useless forum in the netherworld of the net.

Why don't you read the book from the expert in question and then contact him, if it's so important to you? You spend your life bashing Mormonism..... So why not go learn from it's experts?

I don't think it takes an Isaiah expert to answer this question. The Brass Plates and JST versions of Isaiah 29:11-12 are a whopping 19 verses and 16 verses, respectively. How did all that extra text get lost?

I never pass off sincere answers as worthless. If you care to read the texts in question and offer an opinion then I will fully consider it.

I haven't the time to read (nor inclination to buy) the book just to get a non-answer to a very straightforward question.

I'm here now asking any expert who's willing to respond. I've asked numerous experts in the past. Not a single one has attempted to answer the question. This is a major black hole in apologetics. FAIR and FARMS are deathly afraid of this issue. Their only strategy is to not draw attention to it by attempting a response.
