FAIR Conference Mañana!

Post by _Daniel Peterson »

http://www.fairlds.org/conf11a.html

In the closing session on Friday, incidentally, I intend to engage in a flagrant guerrilla theater stunt, an act of civil disobedience flouting all conventions of morality and decency, by quoting several dead people.

I've already laid in a small supply of smelling salts, should Scratch or any of his disciples happen to drop by and need reviving after the hideous shock of it.

Even if no one else laughs at your puttin it all in perspective hassling of some of the folks here, just know I do. I fear too many here just don't get it (not the joke per se)

I really enjoy FAIR conferences. I just don't see how I'm feasibly going to make it. Sadly.

I'm excited about the conference, too. Well, what I'm *really* excited about is K. Shirts's film of the conference. I've been waiting all year for this to come out. To me, this is more exciting that the Harry Potter movie.

Speaking of the Shirts film, I have a request, Dr. Peterson. There are at least a few of us here who are wondering if you would be willing to let Shirts poke you in the belly while he films it. Then, as you're getting poked, you need to throw your arms in the air and cry out, "Heeh heeh!", just like the Pillsbury Dough Boy.

Do you think you'd be willing to grant us this one, small little favor? We'd be forever in your debt...

Why so many posters here view you as something more than a blathering idiot is beyond me.

Stemelbow, didn't you mean 'nothing more than....' rather than 'something more than...'? I'm sure a lot of people see Dr. Peterson as something more than a blathering idiot. Much more. Now for you, that is another question. Perhaps the 'nothing more than...' fits you to a T. Or not?

gramps,

that would have worked better had you put Dr Scratch instead of Peterson...

I would also very much appreciate such a kind gesture. But, please, don't waste the opportunity, Dr. Peterson, if you have the chance, to do a 'double doughboy' along with USU 78. The double 'heeh heehs' would bring mirth, as well as, joy to my soul, at least. I can't speak for the other posters here, for sure.
