Poll Results

Post by _Droopy »

For the poll in which I asked what the response would be if one caught one's spouse or significant other viewing pornography. There were a total of 13 votes on that one, and, unsurprisingly for the GASTP, overwhelmingly, the vast majority (69%) voted for the 4th choice, indicating that they would be "Aroused by the thought of mutual porn viewing."

Now you know one of the primary reasons why I've termed this place an "intellectual ghetto" at times.

Or perhaps its just a poor man's Playboy Club.

Not a single respondent - not one - choose either "Feel hurt, betrayed, angry, and resentful of the "vicarious lovers?" or "Be confused and disoriented, but not shattered and dazed."

Gist for some very serious psychological anlaysis this.

Wow! You post a poll asking for honest answers from members and then castigate them for not living up to your own personal and unreasonable standards.

You are the deviant here! Your abnormal interest in pornography speaks for itself.

Your comments are vile. Please go back to masturbating in a secret corner somewhere.
This, or any other post that I have made or will make in the future, is strictly my own opinion and consequently of little or no value.

I castigate everyone who does not live up to my own personal and unreasonable standards.

I have no abnormal interest in pornography. My interest is in the long and traditional preoccupation primarily by secularist liberals, with a pervasive cult of eroticism that developed aggressively since the late sixties and has become the default position of the culture in many salient ways.

The deep fixation by modern westerners and Americans with eroticism and pornography is fascinating indeed. Its support and defense by cultural leftists as a social good with positive effects for its indulgers is even more interesting. The smug and intellectually slovenly moral relativism that lies at the foundation of that defense is more interesting still.

Your comments are vile. Please go back to masturbating in a secret corner somewhere.

I see I hit a nerve. Call it the "P Nerve." A very tender place for secular humanist leftists to be poked, to be sure.

It's obvious to everyone that reads your polls that you do have an abnormal interest in pornography. You're not fooling anyone.

Please don't blame others in an attempt to assuage your own guilt feelings.

Maybe it would be best if you sought some type of professional help.

Are you a sock puppet for Scratch, or just a little polemical perp looking for a bit of ego gratification?

LOL!!! Neither. I'm just answering your posts. Ego gratification and subconscious guilt deferral would be your area of expertise. I don't think you really realize how you sound to people here.

Here's the Cuckoo's nest. I fly over it now and then. Do I care what the Cuckoo's think about how I sound to them? This place is the Great and Spacious Building in cyberspace. As with the same structure in any of its symbolic forms, in a number of salient ways its fundamentally a place of madness and dysfunction. Spiritual, psychological, intellectual, and moral bedlam.

Do I care how I sound to the mad? Do I care that the Morlocks don't like it that I find them ugly? Do I care that the spiritually dead find those outside the bounds of duly accredited political correctness unclean?

Cultural Morlocks can never be anything other than intellectual predators, by their very nature. This is why you've never bothered to engage me in a civil, respectful, or intellectually substantive manner. As one of the anointed, your primary purpose in discussion and debate is not to debate with logical argument and critical reflection but just to throw out your chest, strut your self assumed intellectual superiority (while avoiding any actual display of it that might convince others of its actual existence), and scatter trendy leftist platitudes and nostrums, no matter how patently absurd, discredited, or easily argued against, like Tinker Bell scatters Pixie dust.

You came to the discussion of homosexuality with nothing, you've contributed nothing, and you leave with all of the ephemeral intellectual phantasms you came with intact.

Hey Droop, it's not nice to poke your pornography poll in people's P-spots...unless you're invited.

This is a positive result. It shows that people are resilient. It shows that they aren't buying in to the reactions that the LDS church wishes they'd have.
