I have a testimony of Santa Claus...

Post by _Drifting »

Good morning Brothers and Sisters,

I'd like to bear you my testimony of the truthfulness of the Claus.
The other day I was going to the shops to buy my Grandmother a present for the holidays. I had selected a scarf and matching mittens in her favourite colurs. When I got there I couldn't find them, they had all sold out. I was distrought. But then I felt a still small voice say to me "go online...". I knew that was the Spirit of Santa prompting me in the direction that I should go and that I should trust that feeling.

I rushed home, booted up the Atari and Googled the scarf and mittens.
Lo and behold they were available to order - in fact there was only 1 of each remaining. It was miracle.

The spirit of Claus is real brothers and sisters. I testify to you today that bringing Santa into your life will bring joy and happiness to you and your family. I know this is true because Santa Claus and the things he does for me give me a deep warm tingly feeling. I have been converted to this truth by the still small voice inside "buy it, she'll love it" and by the reactions of loved ones when I have faithfully followed its promptings. I see Claus's spirit in the faces of little children, I see the good around me that people do in his name, I can physically see the demeanour of people change as Santa Claus enters their lives.

I know that we have no tangible evidence of his existence, I know that archeologists have not been able to find his workshop at the North pole - but I believe that north doesn't necessarily mean north and it may not even be on this planet. We need faith. We have to belive in him and follow his council and his three fold mission of "spend, give, eat" to have our testimonies strengthened. And look for him not in the icy lands that man have labelled the location of Santa's Toy Factory. Look for him the acts of people all around us. That is where he lives.

I pray brothers and sisters that you will also be able to taste of this joy that Santa brings and that you will do your missionary work in bringing people unto Santa during this reactivation period.

In the name of tinsel, sparkle and sugary goodness, even Santa Claus, Amen.

I now hand the rest of the time over to you...

Ever since I started believing in Santa Clause, I have been seeing him everywhere. When once I thougth he was just an interesting myth, I now see many other people have testimonies of Santa Clause. Why else would they invest in large Santa Clause figures on their lawn? Why else would so many people put Santa Claus in movies, and on commercial ads if they didn't believe in them?

The people who claim there is no Santa Clause lack faith. Without faith, they can have no knowlege. That is why they do not believe in Santa Clause. If only they would start believing in Santa Clause, they would understand him like I do.

And by the way, please don't challenge my belief in Santa Clause. If you do, I will have to invent more reasons I believe in Santa Clause, like when I hear someone on the roof last year. Someone said it was the roofers I hired, but it can't be. I didn't see them up there. It had to be Santa Clause.

Now I have peace.

You are a heretic.

Do You really believe in Santa Clause [group of words containing a subject and a predicate and forming part of a compound or complex sentence] ?

Did you know that some wards are trying to banish Santa? I think these wards need some input from the children.

The more you write the more your relevance diminishes.
Got any thoughts, any at all, on Santa?

Yes, it depends on the Bishop. Our previous Bishop was of like mind.

I think these wards need some input from the children.

I think Santa should be invited to the WCP.

It is always amazing to me that some people do not believe in Santa Clause. After all, the magic and supernatural feats that are ascribed to Santa should be extremely easy to believe when compared with those ascribed to the Christian God, or even the Mormon Elohim for that matter.

I mean how hard can it be to believe that there is an overweight old gentleman who lives near the North Pole and leaves Christian children in most western cultures gifts once a year as compared to believing in an anthropormorphic superbeing who magically created this world as well as other worlds without number from matter unorganized?
